I have used Smith plumbing before and again I was very satisfied with my service. Brock Alverson arrived on time and quickly unclogged my drain. Last time he had to do under my house to fix a leak and then too he went to work quickly and in time had all my leaks fixed. With an old house I am very glad to have a very good and competent plumber. Thank you sir!!!

Read reviews about Smith Plumbing and decided to call them about a leak in my upstairs shower. My technician Brock was very polite and replaced my fixtures in the shower and the valves in one sink to the tune of $565.00. In a weeks time the shower was leaking again. They warrantied the work and came back out. Calked the shower and declared it fixed. A month or so later, I noticed the valves in my sink had loosened up and it seemed more reluctant to shut off. Since Brock had told me those were the ""last in town"" , I didn't want to think about calling them back. Then I noticed water coming through the ceiling of my downstairs bathroom. I went upstairs and found the loose valves leaking into the cabinet upstairs. I called Brock. He showed up and said the fixture that he had re-valved had broken and he put cutoff valves on it to stop the water. I asked him how much it would cost to replace both fixtures on my double sink. He said ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. I politely told him I'd have to let my wife pick out the fixtures. I find 1K a bit steep. Especially since he probably broke the fixture rebuilding it. Smith's seems nice enough, but they have questionable work, and very steep pricing.

Had to wait to get scheduled for our repairs, but it was worth the wait. Great communication from them keeping us in the loop on when we could expect them to do the work. Then on the day of work everything was done as they said it would be. They were polite, clean, and did a conscientious job. Will definitely call them again if a plumbing needs arises.

This is the 2nd time we needed their services in a pinch. Both times they came through with outstanding and professional service. I can't say enough about the people who came to do the work. The jobs were completed perfectly. One was a major outside pipe that broke and the 2nd was a inside pluming issue during the cold snap in Feb. They came within 2 hours after calling while our neighbors are waiting a week or more for other companies to show up.

My mother in law needed her shower drain unclogged due to several inches of standing water. She is physically unable to use the tub/shower in another bathroom, and has skin issues so she must shower daily. We contacted Smith because their website states that they will return your call within 30 minutes, even after hours. We were sent an apparent automated text message, several times that stated we would be contacted with 30 minutes. We were never contacted. The next morning I called and someone answered the phone but set it down. I could hear the office conversations, but never had anyone actually on the line. I'm certain the BBB ratings were based on accurate information, but they must have a new organizational setup. My advice is do not rely on them unless you talk to a body. Also the online info about contacting you is simple not true, in my experience. Beware.

I had a great experience with this company. My elderly mom's house had a broken connection at her meter and water was pouring into the street. A technician came out on a Sunday morning and communicated clearly with me about the problem and how much it would cost to fix. He was very professional and put my mind at ease. There was an additional charge since it was the weekend but that was communicated on the front end. After the work was completed, the area was cleaned up and looked good as new. I highly recommend this company and will use them for any future plumbing needs at both mine and my mom's houses.

I wish I could give Smith's Plumbing Services a higher grade however, they are waaaaaay overpriced. I've used several other plumbing services over the years but saw that Smith's is a local Bartlett company so I thought I'd give them a call to support a local business owner. The gentleman who came to my home and did the work was very nice and the service was A+- no complaints there - but I found them to be double the price of the same service I had done previously. Too bad. Good Service but way overpriced.
