Absolutely amazing service! We called early on a Saturday morning with an issue related to the controller on our hot water heater, which was under a manufacturer's warantee. Sure enough, just a few hours later, they were here and fixed it in no time. The communication between the time we called and when they were on the way over was fantastic. 100% sure I would call Smith for any future projects or needs.

Our AC stopped working on the second hottest day of the year. A tech came out to check our system and said we needed a full replacement as the unit was over 20 years old. The quote they provided was for about $10,000. Wanting a second opinion we called another local AC service (C&C) and the owner came out and was able to completely fix the problem for $250. He also said the system was less than 10 years old.

Be cautious, and get a second opinion.

waste of money. didn't fix my problem. gave me the run around. the person who they sent to my home didn't want to work. he was in and out in 5 minutes. heat is not working correctly (insufficient heat) and basically told me everything was good? come on!!! thermostats are not reaching temperature. he told me it was the thermostats after i just told him we just replaced them because of the insufficient heat and the heat still is insufficient after replacement. he told me we replaced them with cheap ones thats why it didn't work!!!! come on!!! he told me i had to get the $40 and above ones and the honeywell $28 digital we had was cheap lol. guess what? replaced all 4 thermostats with $50 ones that he himself recommended and......that didn't fix our problem. paid a service fee for him to tell me to buy new thermostats after i just had news ones installed and still didn't fix my problems. BOILER continues to short cycle every 3 mins but everything is fine lol. I KNow baby steps..so each time you come out you can bang people with your service fee. They also don't return calls. Find someone else who is willing to work and not give you the run around. Stay away stay away. I DO NOT RECOMMEND SMITH COOLING & HEATING IN PEARL RIVER. NY!!

Stay away from them! Incompetent workers. Matt (owner) showed up 1 time
and 1 more, when we had problems. Never answers phone. Never on time.
We had a free 1 time app. for maintenance at beginning of this season after new expensive system was installed. Never showed up. Today, after numerous calls, Jennifer (his sister), promised Matt will stop by to see our concerns. Never happened! Not even a call. While installing the system different workers came each time. Some didn't speak any English. Bad, bad, bad!

I recently had this company come in and install a ductless mini split unit in my new addition. The owner Matt came to my house for an estimate a day after initially speaking with him. My unit was installed less than a week later at a very fair price compared to others. His employees were on time and very professional. They did a very clean and neat job. There's so many companies out there that are a pain to deal with and this company was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

The owner Matt is honest and dependable. I called him on Thanksgiving to repair a leak. He fixed the leak and replaced a pipe. Amazing and the price was very reasonable. Excellent work too ! Highly recommended
