made multiple appointment with this company just to change out some plugs and fix like two things that were leaking. no big deal we'll this fool calls hours later saying that policy just magically changed and if you home is for sale they can't work on it. So save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. cause their policy might change hours after talking to you.

Karl was very polite and very efficient, he got the job done, we would recommend him for services

Failed to show for scheduled appointment. They called me after to let me know they won't make it. Now I've wasted the afternoon and won't be able to get any service provider out today.

When I contacted them to get a bid on my water heater replacement, I was told at least three times that they want the ""decision maker"" at the appointment. I made it clear I was the ""decision maker"" but since it came up at least two more times during the conversation I was forced to wonder whether they would be this demanding if I were a man. This absolutely had to be because I'm a woman. When their rep got to my house, he was pleasant. He gave me his bid verbally and refused to give me a copy. He said that there were three ways it could go: I could accept their bid today; I could say ""no""; or, I could make another (unnecessary) appointment for next week and he would then email a copy to me. I told him I would like to consider the bid over the weekend but he said they don't do that. They require ""same day decision, next day or no."" It was clearly his intent to pressure me. Why on earth would I ever need another appointment? I was inclined to go with them but I since I don't appreciate pressure tactics I'm going to use a local plumbing company. My security cameras caught the whole thing BTW. I hate to think how they treat the elderly.

Today I was reminded why I finally quit using Smith's Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical after using their services for 5-6 years. I used them because the previous homeowner used them and I was new to the city. I'm kicking myself for sticking with them for so long. Please note: the furnace is located in my crawl space and, as an older, single woman, I am unable to crawl around to the side of the furnace with the filter and other access points. Thus, I need to have technicians/businesses that I can trust.
Today I used a new HVAC company and had the most thorough examination and maintenance ever. He discovered that the 2-stage furnace purchased from, and installed by Smith's (5 or 6 years ago) only had one of the two stages hooked up/wired. The humidifier didn't have the air running through it properly. It was operating at about 70%. Of the two filters I asked Smith's to replace last year at this time, only one was replaced, and the other slot was left empty! When the new thermostat was installed, it was only screwed into the drywall without anchors even though there was a wood stud within an inch of where they attached the thermostat. (A few years ago, one of the Smith's technicians found that the two-year old humidifier had never been turned on. However, the technician was unable to turn it on because something was in the way.)
The situation that caused me to finally quit using Smith's services pertained to an apparent leak that was staining the subfloor. The plumber from Smith's determined that a toilet was leaking and that the subfloor was damp. The quote to replace the flange and wax ring was just over $600. This time I got a second opinion before approving repairs. The independent plumber quickly came out the same week and said the subfloor was completely dry. He had me flush both toilets a few times and there was NO visible leaks! He said, he would happily repair a leak if there was something that needed repairs!
I could continue examples where I fell for the up sell pitches I heard from technicians...often without the issue being fixed. I was one that fell for the ""end of season"" sale on furnaces postcard.
In closing, I will say that every technician that has come to my house has been extremely pleasant and friendly. I thought I was getting excellent customer service until issues started to add up. Finally, I loss confidence in the service I was receiving from Smith's.

We had a few issues with Smith, but they made good on everything. We had a great technician who knew what he was doing and he advocated for us. Thank you, Neil!

Excellent company, and service and great pricing too. We had an older AC replaced and the process from advisement of systems to the removal, installation and electrical was excellent. We're new to the Springs area and spoke with a few companies before settling on Smith Plumbing, AC and Electrical. Their team kept us advised throughout the entire process and even through the permit/inspection with the county. So if you're looking for a great company to take care of your needs look no further as Smith Plumbing, AC and Electrical is the go-to company.

After having A/C installed and all plumbing replaced, a substantial amount of money, Smith's left our encapsulated crawl space a mess, a large gouge in the wall of our kitchen, and we've now been rescheduled THREE times just to have someone come service our brand new air conditioner so we can run it for the summer. Completely unreliable.

I called Smith plumbing and electric because I needed both of these things done and only wanted to deal with one company. Smith was one of three quotes that I got and all three were very close in price. Josh came out to give me a quote and was very professional and polite. Josh quoted the job in about an hour and told me that his quote included repairing any drywall that they may have to cut while doing the job, none of the others did this. They started the job the following week, Both the plumbers and electricians showed up on a Tuesday morning and worked all day without even taking a break. They were very professional and friendly and did a very good job. Larry came the next day to patch the drywall. Larry did a great job matching the texture you would never know there were holes there, Eva and the office staff were amazing in taking care of any unforeseen issues that came up and kept the job moving smoothly. All in all a great company, great people and great work.

This company tried to get $10,000 out of my grandmother now on my wife side of the family they're not wanting to hook up the rest of their equipment. After they knew they needed other work done before this could be done. This company is a scam artist and they sent us letters from their lawyers talking about our permits gonna run out of time. I called Pikes Peak Regional Building Department said they can just ask for permit extension. There's no fee involved. It's a scare tactic to rush customers to spend more money.
