We recently met Shane Smiley, Owner of Smiley Plumbing when we moved to Orinda a month ago. Shane had done some initial work on our home as part of our inspection so when we had a different issue upon moving in, I called him for help. Shane called back promptly, came out to our house almost immediately, quickly and efficiently assessed the problem and resolved it in an expedient manner. He is extremely professional, super friendly and personable and a true expert in his trade. Last weekend, we called him back to help us again (seems we have a leak in our sprinkler system) and after checking all of our plumbing fixtures to rule them out, he referred us to a specialist who he called directly and they called me back minutes after he left. Shane is honest, respectful, doesn't want to waste your time or money and most importantly gets the job done right or finds the right people if it is not his specialty. I recommend him highly and will continue to use him for all our plumbing needs.
