Do NOT hire these guys. I paid Mr. Smelser for 17 years to come up to Linden and service my cistrin. Then, all of a sudden, for no reason, he decided to screw me over. He no longer returns my calls and is no longer willing to help me. Unfortunately, he's one of the few people out here that have a water service that come out to Linden. I've tried for weeks now to find someone to replace him, but nobody else is willing to come out here. So, Smelters Water Service has really screwed me over. As if this wasn't spiteful enough, he also got his family (Smelsers Plumbing) to turn their backs on me as well. Don't hire these people! The Smelsers are a dishonorable family. They will stab you in the back!

Started my my general contracting career in 1992 in MD and worked with dozens of plumbers over the years yet without exception Roger Smelser ranks among the best in integrity, skill and affordability. He works with his two sons Cody and Corry who too are genuinely really special young men who take after there Dad. Now living in Front Royal I wouldn't venture to call anyone else. Know he pretty much doesn't advertise because his referral business keep him so busy and unless an emergency he has a two week lead time but we'll worth the wait to work with such a professional caring man. One added note is he somehow makes time with his busy schedule to be Predident of the Front Royal little league. Give him a call today, he answered his phone virtually everytime I called him.

Roger & Cody Smelser reorganized our well situation in Front Royal, VA. Filled our well pit with dirt, grass seed on top etc. Moved pressure tank into house and all water controls, extended well head, replaced water heater, suggested and added UV light to kill bacteria in water, whole house filter, fixed dishwasher, replaced tub shower hardware, cleaned dry vent - probably some things I'm forgetting. They did a fantastic job at incredibly reasonable pricing. I can't say enough about them. They are the best. --- holly

Called them to look at job of putting in a water line. Kept promising to come and look at job. Finally showed up after several calls. Said they would do the job. Never heard from them again. Very unprofessional.
