I am exceedingly happy with these guys. Developed a plumbing problem over the weekend so I called them as soon as they opened this morning. They warned me that they were busy, but they might be able to get someone to us by late afternoon or tomorrow. So long as they show up, who cares. Two hours later they call back and can be at my house in 20 minutes. Took them the same amount of time to fix the problem. Yep, I'm happy.

Bountiful resident, the technician was great and very helpful. I would not use them again though for they did warranty my unit but charged me 400 + to install. I have called around and most companies will warranty the labor too. You should stand behind the product you sell and they clearly don't.

Turned on my swamp cooler..water is dripping inside the walls. Just moved from another state... I have no handyman help. I Google the issue and call Smedley's. 2 hrs later a very professional, hard working young man comes and fixes the problem in a half hour. Next day I hear the same drip! I call. Within a half hour maybe 20 mins... The technician arrives, figures out a new issue. He rerouted my water outside so my walls will never get wet again from the cooler. He had to crawl in the blazing hot attic, up on the blazing hot roof, but he was cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable. He had it replaced and up and running in an HR. Day before the 4th!!!!! And..they credited me for the service I had done the day before so the new line didn't cost me two legs and an arm! Ty! Y'all are so awesome!

Contacted my home warranty to have a blown blower motor looked at. First company that was assigned was nearly a week out and when I asked for another company Smedleys came right out. Upon investigation my furnace was cracked and needed to be replaced, I had been sitting on a new AC unit that I was waiting to get installed and asked if they would install the new AC unit I had since they had to pull the old furnace out. They sent a assessor out the next day to make sure my ac unit would be compatible with my house and walked through everything with me and gave me great recommendations on how to be more energy and cool efficient. They gave me a very reasonable price on installation and sent Grady out a few days later to install the furnace and AC. Grady arrived early in the morning and got straight to work. Grady was extremely personable and had a great attitude, and I can't believe the amount of hard work that goes into HVAC systems. Grady was at our house from 9:30am to nearly 7pm and didn't take a break or a lunch. He kept telling me I'm gonna have you cool by the time I leave tonight. I admired his determination and perseverance to resolve our issue which we had been dealing with for 12 days. Grady was a straight rockstar and was an absolute beast when it came to getting stuff done. I'd recommend Smedley to anyone, our experience with all 3 individuals we worked with (Neldan, Jared and our boy Grady) was exceptional.

I have an Aprilaire humidifer a really fancy one on my furnace. My regular company that I use really didn't seem to be able to trouble shoot it, to figure out why it wasn't working. I called Smedley they came out the same day. Jared was awesome and kind and totally figured it out and I now have humidity for my parrots. Thank you guys so much!

The tech showed up within a couple hours when other companies were booking for eight days out. He immediately and correctly diagnosed the problem with my furnace, and was able to return the next day to fix it. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient.
I will use Smedley's for my future heating/air conditioning needs, and will recommend them to friends and family.

Today we got our new AC And Furnace installed could not have gone better. great installer excellent work. great Company to deal with Great Service worth every penny. I will recommend them to friends and family. you cannot go wrong using them for your AC and Furnace Needs. Kyle who came out to do the bid came though with everything promised and more.He is the son of the owner and a man of his word. Call him you can't get better Service any where.

Smedley employs humans, and humans make mistakes. They installed the wrong air conditioner condenser fan motor -- the part number was identical except for the third number. I noticed it this season while cleaning the condenser -- fully three years after they installed it. They RUSHED right out and put the right one on, FREE of course. They stand fully behind their workmanship as a source of pride. That's what you get in a family owned and passed down business.

I was frustrated when Randy didn't show for a Thursday scheduled appointment to install a utility sink for my new business but it just went from bad to worse when I contacted him about not showing. He told me he wouldn't come until the next week despite the fact I was literally dealing with a flooded store and had only a tiny bathroom sink to try and clean up the mess with. When he finally came the next Tuesday he couldn't complete the task because he ran out of basic items need to finish but instead of going to get them and returning ASAP I waited 3 more days for him to show up and finish a simple job. The owner of my building hired Smedley, if I had I would of fired him after the first time he dropped the ball. Lucky for me I know a great and reliable plumber, Ben Nelson. I would not do business with Smedley ever again.
