Steve was awesome! Moved into the new house and there was an issue with the gas hookup connection for the dryer. He came out shortly after I called and was able to fix it quickly. Good work... nice guy... fair price... what more could you ask for.

Steve did what others could not. Our kitchen sink and the apartment next to ours was backing up. It was a very difficult stoppage and Steve took care of it. If you live in San Pedro or a surrounding community, call Steve first for your drain cleaning problems. He's professional, friendly and gets the job done right. We won't call anyone else.

Wow. Steve just saved the day! Moved into a new place after a ""handyman"" worked on it for 2 months and everything he fixed has gone haywire (cabinets, washer dryer, kitchen sink, hot water heater, etc) but tonight the bathtub started spraying water everywhere so we called Steve and he came through to ""just help out."" He had our main shut off in minutes, fixed our faucet and water heater without strain and was just great all around. If you live in San Pedro Steve is your guy. Steve is a San Pedro local - a tradesman who lives and works in the community. He learned the plumbing profession from his father, and now Steve serves the community with quality work, prompt attention, excellent communication and an all-around good guy attitude.

His prices are FAIR AND HONEST - a little lower than I had been paying. I found him to be trustworthy and forthright - he even helped with a drain cap that I've struggling with for months, after he put his tools back in his truck.

Need an Honest Plumber? Call Steve!

First of all, he will actually answer the phone when you call which is AWESOME in itself. I can't tell you how many Plumbers and general Handymen ignore you when you need them urgently...Not Steve.

He is ON TIME.

The day of my Appointment he called and told me he was a minute away from my location. Guess what, he was knocking at my door in exactly one minute!

Freakishly on Time.

He arrives neat and clean. That day he had a young man as an assistant
which I thought was admirable to give the guy a way to make some money.

Steve was Personable, easy to get along with, knowledgeable at his craft and Professional.

In NO TIME, the issue with my wall furnace was corrected and the Heater was good as new.

As it turned out, the issue with my wall heater was less Complicated than I described to him over the phone.

So concurrently and by his Own will, he charged me far less than the quote I agreed to pay for the service Initially which proves that he is an Honest and Trustworthy person.

Another plumber would have deceitfully taken as much money from me as he could...

NOT Steve.

Being a Young Woman I appreciate an honest Workman that I feel I can trust and Steve proved his Morality with that Gesture.

As long as he is in Business, He will definitely be my ONLY Plumber.

I am an old school landlord.... I'm used to doing all the maintenance repairs myself because, 1. I know I won't get ripped off ... and 2. I am cheap. Well now I have Steve from SMB Rooter to do some of my dirty work. He cleaned out my Bathroom sink for $70. Something I could have done in 15 minutes...but at $70 I won't have to worry about the travel...talking to the tenant...etc. Thanks Steve!

I had a simple problem: my tub wouldn't drain. After trying myself to hook the hair out of the p-trap and using a drill-attached snake, I wasn't able to clear the blockage.

I called SMB Rooter and talked to Steve, who was courteous and professional. He told me that even though his day was packed, he would figure out a way to squeeze me in. He was communicative in calling me later in the day to give an accurate time frame for being out, as well as calling to let me know he was on his way.

There was the possibility of breaking the tub drain plug when trying to take it off for snake access, but he talked with me and made sure that was okay before proceeding (he ended up being able to remove it without it breaking). He also noticed a missing gasket and installed that at the tub overflow at no additional charge.

He cleared the blockage like a champ, cleaned up when he was finished, and ended up charging me less than he had quoted over the phone. Overall, I was very satisfied with SMB Rooter.
