I had a problem with my shower drain and they were able to set me up with an appointment the same day I called. The tech who came out seemed very knowledgeable and found the real issue very quickly. They fixed the problem the same day without any future appointments and I haven't had any problems since then so I am very happy. Overall the price and the service were excellent so I'm going to stick with these guys for all my future plumbing issues.

Sergey was on time, explained what needed to be done, provided the information that I requested. When the terms were agreed upon he did a professional job to solve my problem. The area was left clean and tested before he left.

I am writing this review because quality plumbers etc are difficult to find. I had a serious drainage backup problem one day 3 weeks ago and I called one of those rooter companies to check it out. They told me they had one job pricing that was going to cost me $289.00 just for showing up. They sent out this very small man ( keep in mind, I have a disability and am wheelchair bound for moving around.) This guy wasn't strong enough to take the top off of the cleanout plug , used for cleaning out plumbing when backed up. He told me that he wanted to cut the big cast iron pipe in 1/2, further up and redo the cleanout. I told him that I wasn't interested in Paying an additional $600 because he wasn't strong enough to take off the original cap. I then ended his work before he had done anything he could bill me for. I went to craigs list not my first go to place to hire people, but on this day I got lucky. I spoke with the owner of Smart Plumbing (Sergiy) who agreed to come over asap.
He arrived about 45 minutes later after completing the job he was currently on.
He then proceeded to find an accessible clean out in my garage that had been recently installed when I had some bathroom remodeling done. He had an expensive power snake which was the perfect tool for the job and he ran the snake down my system toward the street at least 10 times, going a bit further through the clog each time. After a while, he was working very hard, he finally had cleared a path all the way to the street and my clog was gone. I must say that he was relentless, smart, and analytical about the way he approached unclogging my drain. I was involved in construction for a number of years and it was easy to spot that Sergiy was very good in what he was doing. Not only did he do a superior job, his pricing on what he charged was the icing on the cake. For just over 1/2 what the first guy was going to charge, Smart plumbing did a superb job and I thought people on yelp would like to have someone to call like Sergiy of Smart plumbing.
