Since my problem was a bit urgent, he quickly freed up his schedule to accommodate me. His explained exactly what he needed to do and finished the work in one day. It was a big job! When you buy a house ""as is,"" you don't know the history, despite the supposed disclosures. A leak in the kitchen sink was no problem, and was fixed during a minor remodel. But then water started seeping through onto the outside by the kitchen sink, so I asked the company that had replaced the sewer lateral for recommendations. Keith of Smart Choice was at the top of the list. He uncovered a disaster, the worst of which was beneath the house, where rats had long ago taken up residence and commenced destruction; the stench of rat urine, once the area was disturbed, was nauseating. Keith explained all the interrelated elements of the repair, which not only involved replacing all the sewer pipes beneath the house but included stopping up the many entries for rodents, some of which were much higher up on the house itself. Keith hired workers who were as pleasant and efficient as himself. The cost was high because the prior neglect had been so ruinous, but it was a fair cost. Keith's expertise and reliability are matched by his friendly patience and ability to explain the plan so that a layperson could understand. He'll be back soon, because he discovered that a part in the toilet needs replacing (he demonstrated to me). I will, of course, hire him for any future plumbing needs.

We have hired Keith of Smart Choice Plumbing twice in the last year for various projects, and will most definitely hire him again when it's time to remodel the kitchen. He has helped replace a faulty sump pump during a heavy rainstorm. Then he replaced all our ancient galvanized water pipes in our two story house - and a leaky water heater. Last week, Keith installed a new gas range stove, replacing an electric stove, which was a much more complicated project than we all anticipated. But he was able to take care of it quickly and with a little help from an electrician he recommended, while staying close to the original estimate. I agree with all the other reviewers that Keith is very punctual and honest, but more importantly, he is a great at his job - he delivers quality. Keith has a great work ethic and goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you are happy.

Keith gave me a 2 hour window for when he would come to our house to look at our leak. He showed up a few minutes before the window began! Within a few minutes Keith had diagnosed the problem and given me a quote for the job. Before the hour ended, Keith had fixed the leak in our shower head. Like the other reviewers on this board, I found Keith to be very professional. I'll reach out to Keith first for any other plumbing issues.

Keith is so personable and always gets back to you when he says he will. If you have an emergency, he'll make it work. Otherwise, he'll still get there faster than anyone else. He fixed old plumbing that was leaking under our kitchen, and then fixed a leak above the hot water tank after that. Will keep calling him back next time something goes wrong!!
