I had a great experience here purchasing a couple of seismic earthquake shut off valves. I believe I worked with Greg over the phone he was able to place a phone order for me and have the valves ready for when I came into the shop to pick them up. He quoted me a very fair price and when I went in the valves are ready exactly what I needed they also had the bracing brackets in stock which was a bonus. If you're in need of plumbing parts I'll give them a call and see if they have what you need in stock as they're likely competitively priced and have a vast inventory.

Local plumbing company open to the public don't need to be a contractor. Usually have everything only problem is if your a new customer your usually not gonna be helped and gonna stand around for 10-15 mins. Better selections and they have all the sizes instead of Lowe's or Home Depot

These guys are great! I found a part that I was looking for that other plumbing supplies did not have. The price was on par with other major supplier stores. If your in Glendale/burbank area check them out

I went to Smardan Burbank to try to decide what type of urinal I was going to need to replace the one in our facility. I got in to what can only be described as the worst parking lot in the world. I went to the will call area which to say needed a lot of TLC. I asked for help and they asked if I had an account there I mentioned no but could they help me with finding the correct urinal. I was not helped so after 5 mins I asked for the manager.Out comes this guy with wacked out hair and wearing flip flops. He introduced himself as Mr Trinidad. He seemed helpful at first we went to his office to figure out the new restrictions on water flow. The entire time he started preaching how great the training he got at some other company called Todd pipe. How great they were how much inventory they had and how they spent a lot of money sending him to seminars. I thought how strange he talks more about where he use to work. He just kept going on and on and then the conversation turned to religion. I just wanted a urinal. he offered to make me a juice drink. He had a juicer in his office. No thanks I just want to see if you can supply me what I need. he was listening to some religious music and he looked like he started meditating. I asked him for the number to Todd pipe and told him I would go there since he thought it was the best wholesaler in Calif. he never got me my info and I will never got there again or send anyone else my company there as well. Todd pipe now has all of my business.

I was trying to save a little money ($2500) by changing out my galvanized main line water pipes that were old and rusty. So I did some ""how to"" research and listed everything I needed. I found Smardan on Yelp and thought I would purchase everything from them. The total cost of all the material came out to less than $350. The guys at the counter were very helpful and in total took about 30min to order and get everything brought out to my car. They even let me borrow their cutter to cut the 20ft pipes in half to fit in my car.


If you're a pro I'm sure you don't need my review but if you're a do it yourselfer like I am these guys can get you everything you need and will help you out so you wont feel too far out of place.

All in all it took me about 8hrs to complete my project and a week later I can still say there's no evidence of any leaks :D

As a homeowner who knows his way around the construction industry, going to Smardan (a Plumbing Supply geared to professional plumbers) was not a big deal. Since they either carry or rep everything - it is the place to go if you want anything plumbing related, especially specialty or non mainstream items. NOTE - this place primarily deals with professional plumbers and is a place to go if you know exactly (or close to it) what you need.

The sales rep Mark H. sat me down and spent the time to find exactly what I needed (a special order item) and followed up an hour later with a phone call. My regular plumber uses them and I will now for any special order/hard to find items.
