Buyer Beware....... This company is owned by Paul who owns North County Plumbing (NCP) and possibly one other. After a disaster with N C P, I called to schedule an appointment with this company. Owner, Paul, picked up the phone and told me he had been to my house. He then went on to describe in detail how everyone on his team had Covid, including his scheduler, Jim, who was in the hospital, however Jim was not going to die. Why does he use someone in the hospital to do his scheduling ? Doesn't this owner care about the quality of the service he provides and continues to use someone who is sick to do his ""scheduling..."" ? I had three appointments with NCP - and they showed up 7 hours late for one of them and didn't show up for the other two. How sad that residents of SLO County have to deal with such incompetence. In addition owner, Paul, will tell you about all the multitude of hardships he is experiencing and is extremely rude on the phone. Don't waste your time.

We had a clogged toilet over the weekend. After multiple calls made out to different companies they called us back. They got behind on a project before us and when we called to see if they were still coming they called us back and gave us an update, they showed up to our door minutes late. We were very thankful to find someone on a weekend.

Unfortunately I will never use of recommend them to anyone.

I called them due to a toilet that would clog a couple times every week. When the guy came out he augered the toilet/pipe, said it is totally good and he got it. Charged me $135 which is a fair price and left... about 5 days later I was having the same issue. I called them and they said it would just be a call back and they would be free to me for them to come back out.... he ended up taking the toilet out and checking out the drain/toilet and said the issue was a problem with my tiles/drain. Then he told me that since he had to take out the toilet to find the issue it will cost over $200. Then he said he could come out later that week and fix it for $800+.... I thought it was suspicious, so I said I would think about it.
A few days later a different plumber came out and took a look at it, immediately said that it was the toilet and the pee trap, and said that everything that the guy from SLO county plumbing had said was wrong, he had never heard of this issue.
I got a new toilet, installed it, and it works perfectly, no issues, no slow flow. Wish I hadn't wasted over $350 .
Honestly the guys were nice and I have no doubt are usually good. However when you say coming back out will be free, please let me know if you're going to do work that you will charge me for, also please give me a real solution. I won't be using them again. Wish things had turned out better

There should be a 6/5 option for going above and beyond! I have been dealing with a bathtub that would not drain no matter what I tried (plunger, 2 foot long hair snare, etc.). I called Paul on Monday, knowing that I literally have 10 people coming to visit over the weekend and was panicking about my puddle. I couldn't be home from work to meet them there/let them in. Before lunchtime, Paul had sent Danny to my workplace to pick up my house key, and an hour later, I got a text from Danny showing me what all he pulled out from the depths (nasty!) and saying it was good to go, and he left my key in the safe spot I requested on his way out. I can't believe how quick, efficient, and trustworthy they are. They are the kind of people you can trust to be in your home without supervision, and that means so much given that I work during normal contractor's ""business hours"". Paul and Danny are so great, and I will use them again when/if the need arises!

I don't often write reviews, much less give a 5.0 rating. But this plumbing service was truly exceptional. The day before Thanksgiving we faced the prospect of 13 guests, most overnight, and no hot water when our old tankless heater went out. Tried a bunch of plumbers and none were available or capable of servicing tankless water heaters. Paul (owner of SLO Plumbing) responded to my request for help via Home Advisor (on line system to find service providers) within minutes; seconds actually. In a few hours Michael (lead tech for SLO Plumbing) arrived with a new and better unit. He worked well into the night to replace our heater, cutting no corners whatsoever. He was over-the-top professional, exceptionally competent, and almost obsessively perfectionist. This was probably the most satisfying home service experience we have ever had. We found our plumber for any plumbing needs ever, and I am quite certain that everyone will have the same reaction to this plumbing firm as I had today. Highly recommended with no reservations.

Two weeks ago my water heater had a major leak-ugh! North County Plumbing were there within 24 hours, and professionally repaired the original problem. However, when they had to relocate the water heater so the water damage could be repaired, the plumber noted that the water heater was more damaged than upon first inspection. He and the staff were strong advocates for me with the home warranty company and went above and beyond to get the minimizing reluctant warranty company to not put a decrepit water heater back to cause more water damage down the line. I felt like I was in good hands!
