On time but everything else was off. For a small job (install two p-traps, one toilet, one garbage disposable) the technician left without notice and came back two hours later with couple of parts in his hand while I had purchased everything he needed. And on his way out he took the part with him thinking I didn't see it. Basically added two hours of labor to the project. It just felt wrong to be cheated in a childish manner, trying to hide the part in his jacket! Just stupid! For future potential clients, if your project is on time and material basis just be cautious of their tactic.
Second, the p-trap was leaking after he left so I called the tech to come back but after a few unanswered calls and texts I ended up fixing it. If you somehow decide to go with these guys be aware of this as well.
Overall I think you can find better plumber in the area. A handyman would have done a better job, unfortunately I thought since these guys are licensed they are reliable which wasn't true.
Two start for being on time.

I have a Rheem tankless water heater that kept coming up with a code for an igniter problem c11. I was told by another plumber that Slater was the company to call they were the only ones that work on Rheem. I called and was given the information from the dispatcher, she explained that their hourly rate is $100.00 per hour for routine maintenance, if the igniter on the heater needed parts it would be extra. Ok, I thought that was fair. The repairman came out the same day and looked at the unit and said long story short if parts are needed you are looking at $495.00. Ok, so if it needed a part it would take extra time to put in plus the cost of the part, I get that. It is what it is. The repairman got here at 8:15 am this morning started by flushing out the tank, Pulled out the burner and cleaned the sensors. Put the heater back together this took a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes NO parts needed. The repairman told me the cost would be $495.00. Grudgingly, I paid, and I did question the cost only to fall on deaf ears always an excuse for the high price when they only performed the basic maintenance. I then called the dispatcher and questioned the cost of the job start to finish time she said they charge port to port. His time 2 hours he wrote 7:30 to end time 9:30 glad to know their time starts when they get in the truck not when they arrived at your home. ( I wonder if there was a coffee stop?) I will have to give 5 stars for the job done but I also felt I was the victim of price gouging of which I would give a negative 5 stars. My advice is to get the total price if parts are needed and the price if they are not needed. Also, get it in writing what a simple maintenance job consists of in detail. I really don't see how much simpler the job he did on ours could be considering what we thought it would be having to replace the ignitor. With all this said I do appreciate how fast and quick their service is.

After a full day of cleaning the entire house my 3 year old son decided to pour a cup of dirt in the bathroom sink and create a glorious mess. On top of the mess... he clogged the sink. Knowing absolutely nothing about plumbing I decided to YouTube how to take apart my sink. Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I completely tore everything apart and accidentally ripped the plumbing from my ceramic sink bowl. I sat for about an hour bawling my eyes out because I couldn't tape it back together and my sink was leaking an atrocious amount of water. So I scrolled through google looking for a plumber. I called a random plumber which just so happened to be these guys. They directed me to the dispatcher (kylee). Now, this woman should win the Golden Globe of customer service. I think she called me back 4 times to reassure me that she would help me and shes figuring out who she could move around to get it done. Mind you... this was a FRIDAY. I would be sinkless for an entire weekend and this woman stretched her people to help me.... qualifying her for sainthood and a pay raise. When the tech/plumber came out he was superb as well. I don't know where Slater finds these amazing individuals, but I'm severely impressed. He came in, was extremely sweet, and handled the sink like nobody's business. I was standing there being extremely useless and he told me not to worry and just do what I usually do. He came and got me when he was done and had me check out his handy work. And my God did my sink run like a Chevy. No leaks. It was a beautiful thing. Pay raise needed, again. Thanks Geo! Youre rad! And I appreciate how kind you are. Slater plumbing is the God among plumbers. Call these people.

Excellent clean work from Deo on a water heater replacement. It was a rush job and they took care of it. Highly recommended!

I want to complement Slater Plumbing on such a good job they did for me. I have rental properties and when ever I need work done I always call them. Most recently I needed a new water heater in my own home and they cane out right away and did the job in a timely manner. They are always very courteous and very reasonably priced. Good job Slater Plumbing...

I recently had a issue with my plumbing in my restroom called Slater Plumbing and they came out immediately the plumber was super and well knowledgeable and considering it was last minute emergency the pricing was great. I would highly recommend Slater plumbing for all my plumbing needs.

Slater replaced our gas water heater with an efficient tankless unit with a return pump which was their suggestion. Now we have hot water much faster than before at the showers and sinks, very nice! Quick and clean install and friendly techs.

When we opened our business we used Slater Plumbing. We are so happy we did because they were awesome. Customer service was amazing. The attention to detail and genuine interest in saving us money while being sure everything was done professionally and at a high standard was good to see. So many other companies quoted us at a much higher price. Slater Plumbing was honest in all its dealings with us. We recommend them if you need domestic or commercial projects done right and in a timely manner.

I am the property manager for Oakridge Mobile Home Park in Lebec, Ca. We were dealing with a substantial plumbing issue in the park and found Slater Plumbing after we had obtained a few bids from other local plumbing companies. After their initial visit, which they worked us into their schedule promptly, we gave them the contract for the job. We found Slater Plumbing to be very competitive, and they completed the job ahead of schedule. In dealing with Eddie, he was always very accommodating, forthcoming, and professional. We were of the opinion that we needed additional hardware for this specific job, and Eddie stated he could comply with our wishes but let us know it was not necessary and saved us the extra cost. Any plumbing issues that come up in the future, we will be calling Slater Plumbing!

Don't call them if you have an emergency or want a fair price. I called Slater plumbing on Saturday afternoon at 2:45 and left my name and number with their answering service. After waiting for over an hour I called back. They said someone one call back soon. Just after 4 pm, I received a call from someone a Slater and was told it would be a minimum of $255 dollars for one hour because of the overtime rate. I ask what days and time does overtime rates start? I was told standard rates are Monday - Friday 7 am to 5 pm. Any other time is billed at overtime rates. Last year I called Slater plumbing and used their services (same type of problem) and at that time I was charged $152 dollars for that work which was at 8 pm on a Friday. Don't call this greed driven, rip-off company. They get one star for their answering service.
