Very knowledgeable and helpful staff! Luis spent a lot of time helping me find the right solution to my odd sized return air filter grill. First he put one of the standard products in will call for me to look at and measure because there was some mention that it might be undersized in the manufacture's literature. He also put me in touch with the manufacturer to start the process of submitting a quote for a custom size. It turned out that the standard product was not undersized and Luis helped me with the request for a custom size. This is above and beyond service, especially since I am not a professional contractor, just a homeowner!

This place has very knowledgeable staff and great prices. Big box stores such as Home Depot don't carry many things in stock any more. Sellers on Amazon are asking for 2-3x the prices here. I was able to get the part I need from Slakey Brothers without waiting for delivery and for a much lower price.

This company is great!! my AC unit failed during a 105 degree temperatures, i knew what part failed and was able to find it here and have it ready to be picked up within 30 minutes of me calling. the price for the part was the same as on amazon except i didn't need to wait for the two day shipping etc. etc.

As a regular customer for Slakey Brothers San Jose, I have always and consistently found that both their customer service over the phone and in person has been very easy to do business with.

The manager (Ken Varnes) also sends us emails (as a regular customer of theirs) in regards to upcoming price increases due to the tariffs and an ETA for the effective date. As of late these notifications from the manufacturer are quite often and it is important to note that it isn't easy to notify customers that prices are going up and perhaps that is why their competition rarely sends out these notices, but just surprises us with a higher invoice.

This notification give us and our customers a heads up of any pending increases so we can take advantage of the pre-tariff pricing.

Poor warranty on items. Bought a wall furnace ,it had defective burner. Made me buy a new one said it will be covered and I will get money back but after one month and a week NOTHING. I do not recommend this business!!!!!!
