I don't understand why slakeys doesn't have ten stars.
I buy thousands of dollars of products here each week.
The guys behind the counter do a great job. They deserve lots of credit for trying to help all these customers who are asking for a million things .

We had a bathroom sink break and looked at all the big box stores but couldn't find the right size. A friend suggested Slakey Brothers and they went out of their way to help us find the right size even though from out of town - and got it to us in 24 hours! The right size for the best price and all with friendly helpful service. Special thanks to Brandon German.

Horrible customer service! The guy ""helping"" me couldn't tell me anything about the product he was selling, and seemed irritated when I asked specific questions about it. In today's market, a brick and mortar business needs to be able to do more than just sell me the product I need. They need to be knowledgable and courteous. There are plenty of internet stores out there that offer the same products for less money (even after shipping). Customer service is an easy way up set yourself apart.

I was able to find another local vender that was willing to take some time with me and has earned my business. They even came in at a lower price! Of course I'd gladly pay a little more to a local business with great customer service over buying online (for most things).

I use Yelp all the time when searching for quality businesses to patron, but I did not have an account. This experience was so frustrating that I opened an account just to review Slakey Brothers. After this however, I plan to post a glowing review on the other business and I hope this helps anyone hunting for plumbing and HVAC equipment.
