William Smith started Sky Heating in 1979, driven by the idea of heating from the sky, hence the name, Sky Heating. Today, we excel in high-efficiency heating systems, air quality solutions, ductless mini-splits, and a variety of heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioners, and water heaters. Sky Heating is now operated by the second generation, with the third generation already visiting the office to see their dad when possible!

So had them come out to fix a sticky shower handle. They came out. I was distracted and agreed to have them perform the work. Turns out they showed up at say 1240pm and had to go get a plug for the valve as that was the problem and he didn't have it on his truck. Got back and did the job in less than 30 min. Signed everything and left.

According to sky heating and cooling its a job bid. And not holy. They did 30 min of work (and I'm being generous here) and 1 part. Literally took 2 min to take the stuff off. And 3 min to put back on.

Workers were great and friendly. But $575 for 2 hrs and less than 1 hr of that was actually at my house or working on anything. My lawyers in the wrong field.

He assessed both situation's and repaired everything keeping us updated and giving us options. We definitely knew we were working with a seasoned plumber for an old house with many hacks prior to us moving in.

Needed to re-route our water spigot to an outside wall. Work was as promote. Plumbers took pics of completed project, and owner called us immediately saying he wanted a more professional looking job. We were quite surprised that he had reviewed the job, and scheduled re-work within the same week. We are extremely happy, and will be using this Sky for an electrical project. I called Sky last week to make an appointment for an estimate. The appointment was confirmed and I was given a 3 hour window of time. I cleared my schedule and made sure I would be available. The appointment was to discuss venting a hood range through my roof, installing AC throughout my home, and getting a fan installed in a bathroom. I shared all of this information in the initial call. I called at 9:54 this morning, the morning of the appointment, and was informed that my appointment had been canceled due to them not working on hood ranges. I had only called to ask if they could give me a better idea of when they would be arriving in the 3 hour window. I explained that I was frustrated that the appointment had been canceled without any form of notification. The receptionist transfer me to their sales team. The sales team reported that they had called me and that they were sorry they weren't able to reach me with enough time. I explained that I had no missed calls or voicemails. He verified my phone number and address both of which he had correctly. I explained that the hood vent was only one piece of the work I needed done. He immediately offered to get me in touch with someone else to discuss planning around the AC and bathroom fan. I explained that I would not be working with them based on this entire interaction. I was very excited to work with a woman owned business that came highly recommended. Them not valuing my time and claiming to have called when they didn't doesn't set a great precedent for a expensive and extensive job.

We, like many, fell prey to the heatwaves this summer and ended up needing to replace both our AC and furnace. I spoke with several companies, and finally narrowed down to 2. Mico was our first point-of-contact and I can't say enough good things about him. Kind, professional, and extremely patient (I literally dragged our decision-making process out for days and bombarded him with so many questions, but he handled it very gracefully and is ultimately the reason we ended up going with Sky.) We did have to wait for about 6 weeks to get our new units installed due to supply chain issues, but this was still a month sooner than the other company could offer. I was nervous that the install wouldn't happen on time, but much to my surprise, they came through with flying colors. Earl, Morgan, Enrique and Dan worked SO HARD, and always with a smile on their faces. I was very impressed with their work ethic and consideration for our house (they left everything very clean.) The last interaction I had was with Meredith, who was also super helpful and sweet when taking our payment. I'm grateful to have found Sky and will absolutely be using them again for future work!

We had to get a new Hvac system. From the repair guy, salesman (Randy) to the installation crew (6) we were treated with respect, honesty and integrity. We were provided different options to choose from, was never pressured to pick the most expensive.

We opted to go with this new system that will provided unlimited hot water and level the heat in our home. I can fill our soaking tub and never run out of hot water! It is amazing, I am already in love with it.

The crew was outstanding. Very efficient, knowledgeable, personable and funny! Of course in these days Safe. They all wore a mask, nice ones with the company logo on them.

Shout out to Enrique, Earl, Paul, Joel, Mario and Anthony. 5 stars to each and everyone of them.

Plus they liked my dog Bruin. Thank you all for the great work, can't even tell you were here for 8 hrs. It is all so clean after all your work.

I used Sky Heating, AC & Plumbing. I was hesitant because they offer a fixed bid, not based on a specific rate, but I decided to use them based on recommendations in a FB group. The technician was on-time, actually 5 minutes early. My tenant was home, lights were on but he did not knock on the door. He could not see the leak despite the fact that I removed the drywall, so I had to point it out, even my tenant could see the leak. He did not have a stepstool, so we borrowed my tenants. His quote to fix was almost $700. I asked him how long it would take to fix, he said 1.5 hours., which is $466/hour, which is egregious and I would not agree. We finally agreed on $560 and he would fix the leak in the kitchen sink next door as well. He left after 1 hr 45 mins total, 1.5 hrs actually working.

He stepped on a brass fitting twice coming down the stepstool, almost tripping right next to an open bottle of compound, which would have spilled all over the floor. He left his tape measure in the truck, got it and came back. He left his towel in the truck, got it and came back., which I think he did intentionally to stretch the time of the job out because he asked me if I was going to stay and I said of course. He spent not even 5 mins tightening the connection to the kitchen sink next door, not even replacing the gasket. I paid $320/hour for this repair and sadly will NEVER use Sky Heating, AC and Plumbing again. Next time, I will use someone who charges on an hourly basis, which is a fair and reasonable rate. That said, the work quality of the repair looked fine.

**Update** Sky Heating, AC & Plumbing ended up giving me a $320 credit, which I greatly appreciate.

I called a different HVAC company first, and never even got a call back. This was during a heat wave, and our AC had stopped blowing cold. Sky Heating was recommended by a friend, and I am so glad I called them. They got back to me right away and offered me the option of an emergency after hours appt, or their next available regular hours appt.
Morgon came out to look at our system and was able to diagnose the problem quickly, and fixed it on the spot with parts he brought with him. He was very friendly and professional, and upsold my husband on a maintenance program moving forward.
The follow up from the Sky hearing office was great, they made sure everything worked and went to plan. I have already called them for other work needed and recommended them to clients.
