A 16-yr.-old gas water heater and associated components were replaced efficiently and apparently competently with a new unit on the day we needed ""emergency"" service.
This week we awoke to water pouring out of the water heater and saturating the basement floor. We quickly called several companies and Sky was able to come out asap. Tim Platt showed up by mid-morning, basically said the old unit was failing and we'd be smarter to put money into a new heater. We agreed and he went to work. Eventually a co-worker, Steven, came to help out. Everything was installed and the area cleaned up by late afternoon.
The cost for the unit and extra components (e.g. connectors, an underlying pan) seemed high but it's been years since we've had a similar expense. Also, we didn't have several days to collect multiple estimates as the water clearly needed to be shut off, work done and hot water restored for the household.
Overall we are thankful Tim from Sky arrived and was able to replace the water heater the same day.

My A/C compressor stopped so I made an appointment and Cody Marco came out. He was prompt and thorough and was very detailed as to what needed to be done and what my costs would be. I was so impressed that I signed up for the Sky Heating membership which will give me 2 free system inspections per year. Cody was very honest as to what items needed to be replaced and what I could get away with by waiting a short while so I didn't get stuck with a major expense all at once. I am very happy with Cody and the service he provided.

refused to honor service contract, charged me $491.30 to clean my drain line that is listed as a free service under their maintenence contract, they argued it was a deep cleaning not a light cleaning the service contract does not differentiate just says ""cleaning main drain line and trap"" was on the phone with MacKenzie twice and kept referring to a diagnostic service, the fee for which is also waved under their maintenence agreement. would definitely not trust them to uphold anything they tell you or put in writing. avoid like the plague

Matt Burnette was really friendly and gave us excellent service. He took the time to explain everything he was doing in easy-to-understand language, and made our dogs feel comfortable.

I signed up with Sky for a monthly fee that included maintenance for both heating and AC. Both ""maintenance"" visits were only assessments of my system, with no actions taken around cleaning any parts or proper maintenance rather a long list of parts that were middle of the road but recommended for replacement. The results of the maintenance visits were selling services and repairs along the lines of ""platinum, gold, silver, etc.."" a major sales pitch. I cancelled my contract and went with a more local company, versus a franchised operation.
