I would avoid this plumber. I realize things got busy for all plumbers during the last freeze, but this guy did have time to come out and look at my problem. The thing is I got a partial job. He located the problem and he shut off the water underneath our mobile home at the problem site. Then he took a piece of the plumbing with him and said he needed to consult a friend of his. He said he'd be back in a couple days. I called him four days later and didn't get an answer. Then I called him the next week and he answered and said he'd be out after he goes to the parts store. I waited another week and called and left a message. He called me back a few days later and said he had Covid. I told him I'll wait the week that he said he needed off. The week went by and he never called me. During that time, a friend came over to visit and I told him about the problem and he said he could fix it. It took him one visit to the hardware store and about a half hour and he had it fixed. My friend isn't even a plumber. The plumber charged me $190 for basically shutting off the water and taking some of my plumbing with him.

Doesn't pick up the phone. Went through warranty company who assigned them. Avoid!

I guess they don't want anyone's business. What a poorly run company. There are other great plumbers out there. Look elsewhere.

SKI'S PLUMBING ...USE SOMEONE ELSE!!
Via our home insurance, Chris put in a new water heater. Charged our insurance 75.00 for a 35.00 permit he opted to not obtain. When no one contacted us for the inspection, we called the insurance company. They confirmed payment for the permit. Called the City of RR..no permit requested. The insurance company repeatedly called Chris, as well as ourselves. He finally responded..got a permit and set up an inspection...for yesterday... the inspector did not show nor did Chris... my husband placed a call to Chris, who responded an hour later. No updates.. no nothing. Sent a text this morning and still no response. Complaints will be filed to the City, insurance company and BBB

Chris was sent by my home warranty vendor (OneGuard) when my hot water heater didn't deliver one cold winter day...thankfully it was just a part (temperature control valve). He was able to get my hot water back very quickly. Nice guy, responsive, knowledgeable and efficient. Would definitely recommend...in fact, I already have!

Chris Kurczewski is the sole proprietor and practitioner. We had a leak from the upstairs bathroom and we couldn't identify the source (we promptly turned off the house water) I called Chris late on Father's Day and he called right back the next morning. He was there that afternoon and identified the leak as coming from an 11-year old water heater. I put him together with my home protection insurance company (who use him as a vendor BTW) and I had a new water heater by noon the next day. He was responsive, reasonably priced, nice as can be, and did what he said he was going to do!! A real gem to have him here so close in Liberty Hill!
