My experience as a union electrician equipped me with a broad range of skills and made me quite resourceful. I have always been the “go-to” individual in my family and friends' circle for any “Skilled Handyman” tasks. Initially, I offered my services for some extra cash, and the business took off rapidly. I quickly became overwhelmed with work and had to make a decision about whether to commit full-time or keep it as a side gig. In 2008, with the start of a new recession, I opted to take the plunge into full-time work. And here we are today!
At Skillz Handyman Service, what I do goes beyond a job; it’s a true passion. I have invested years in mastering home repair and improvement because I sincerely enjoy aiding homeowners in bringing their ideas to life. There’s immense satisfaction in fixing what’s broken, updating what’s outdated, and witnessing the relief and happiness on my clients’ faces when a job is completed correctly. I take satisfaction in solving problems, providing quality craftsmanship for every task, and making homes more functional and attractive. Whether I’m putting in recessed lighting, patching drywall, or addressing that ongoing punch list, I approach each task with the same care and dedication as if it were my own home.
