My experience as a union electrician equipped me with a broad range of skills and made me quite resourceful. I became the “go-to” expert in my family and friends' network for all “Skilled Handyman” projects. Initially, I offered my services for some extra cash, and the business took off rapidly. I soon found myself very busy and had to decide whether to pursue this full-time or continue part-time. In 2008, amid the onset of a new recession, I chose to go full-time. And that brings us to where we are now!
For me, Skillz Handyman Service is not merely a job; it’s a passion. I have invested years in mastering home repair and improvement because I sincerely enjoy aiding homeowners in bringing their ideas to life. It’s incredibly fulfilling to repair what’s broken, enhance what’s outdated, and see the relief and joy on my clients’ faces when a job is done right. I take pride in addressing challenges, delivering quality craftsmanship on every project, and enhancing the functionality and beauty of homes. Whether I’m putting in recessed lighting, patching drywall, or addressing that ongoing punch list, I approach each task with the same care and dedication as if it were my own home.
