Johnny is professional and knowledgeable. The best part?? He is humble, honest and reasonable.

He was able to come to our house with a short notice. Upon inspection, he knew exactly what the problem was. He patiently explained it to me and quoted me a reasonable price. I accepted his quote and he began the work right away. He was able to fix everything for me in less than 2 hours which is impressive!

Johnnie is a miracle worker. Around noon time today, we sent out quotes about re-piping our kitchen sink and unclogging of our pipes on Yelp, he responded promptly within 10 minutes and offered the best price of 15 other plumbers. We accepted him, and scheudled something at 4pm to have it fixed.

He came into came to our home on time, and quickly gave us an assessment, and told us that he OVER-BID because he didn't have to un-clog our pipes. Turns out, the overnight Draino worked on our pipes, and all we had to do is re-pipe it. I was so glad that we didn't have to hydro-blast the pipes or anything like that.

However the re-piping has to be redone again because of metal pipes that are rusting. (Note: When you live in a house that's built by a developers, they will cut corners as much as they can with design, and materials. In our case, all the pipes were at a weird slanted angle, and it was lots of customization of metal pipes to get it to fit. It looked horrible!)

As for the re-piping job, Johnnie quickly re-piped our kitchen sink less than an hour. He had to correct a lot of piping, and customized cutting of the pipes and angles to look like it's professional done. All this work less than an hour. We even had some time to get to know each other. He's a great guy, and a great plumber. I will refer him to anybody that needs plumbing services. Good Luck Johnnie, and anybody that uses him will be in good hands.

Came within 15 minutes and did an amazing job clearing a lot of food out of my kitchen sink drain. My mom thinks it's a garbage can - gotta love her! They were professional and worked very fast to make my sink work much better! I can't thank them enough for coming so fast and making a dirty mess fixed in no time! They cleaned everything up too and even unloaded all the stuff from under my sink even though i offered to do it! I would recommend them to anyone!

Johnny is a very good professional and great to work with. He and his team redid our sewer lines and not only did he give a fair market rate. He was sure to provide photo and video evidence so we could see the extent of work done as well as verify. This helped ensure confidence in the work done, plus he gave limited warranty. As usual when you have workmen come through the house, post cleanup can be a chore, thankfully that was not the case and we did not have major cleaning to do. We would definitely call on his company again for any major plumbing projects.

Very happy with this service. I contacted Johnny yesterday about our leaking toilet that has been broken for years. I've had to use the valve switch every time I use the restroom just because it would leak. He replaced our valve, the flapper, and something on the inside of the toilet and it is finally LEAK FREE!!! I could cry tears of joy cause I no longer have to turn the switch off after using the toilet. Thank you Johnny for your excellent service! Cost was not as bad as I thought it would be!

These guys are amazing, they responded to our clogged toilet which we tried plunging ourselves and using our auger for about 20 mins. We could not get it done ourselves after finding sj rooter on Yelp we called and 20 mins later they were at our home. Someone had accidentally flushed a pair of underwear down the toilet. We laughed they charged a very reasonable rate. I will be using them in the future for all of my plumbing needs!

Early Friday morning, 7/19/2019, I heard a whistling sound in our master bathroom. Thinking that it was a malfunctioning toilet flush valve, I inspected and discovered the sound originated from beneath the house. At sunrise, I went outside to investigate further. Using a flashlight, I looked through a foundation vent beneath the master bathroom and saw some water spraying. The source of the whistling sound was a pinhole leak in a 1/2" diameter copper pipe supplying water to the master bathroom.

Based on a recommendation from a neighbor in my Centerwood Neighborhood, I contacted Johnny Sy (SJ Rooter & Plumbing) at 9 am and explained that I needed a plumber to repair this pinhole leak. Johnny informed me that he was very busy that day, but would make an effort to come by and check out the leak at 1 pm that afternoon. Johnny arrived early at around 12:30 pm. After inspecting the pipe leak in the crawl space beneath the master bathroom, Johnny gave me a very reasonable estimate to perform the needed repair. By 2:30 pm that afternoon, Johnny completed the repair, which involved cutting and removing the corroded section of pipe and replacing it with a new section of copper pipe.

While working on the copper pipe repair, Johnny informed me that he noticed there were 2 broken vertical rod hangers that were supposed to support a section of the PVC sewer drain line leading away from the master bathroom. Johnny said it was imperative that the 2 rod hangers be fixed as soon as possible in order to avoid any future sewage clogging issues. He said he would repair the 2 pipe hangers free of charge, but could not complete the work on Friday since he had other appointments lined up that afternoon. Johnny said he would return on Monday, 7/22/2019 to complete the repairs.

As promised, Johnny returned to my house today (7/22/2019) and fixed the two broken pipe hangers that support the PVC sewage drain line. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Johnny's technical know-how and I believe he is a first rate plumbing professional! Suffice it to say that I plan to utilize Johnny's services in the future and I also plan to recommend him to other family members and friends living in our neighborhood. Johnny's fixed rates are very reasonable. Like me, I am sure you too will find him to be an affable and courteous gentleman. When working inside our home, he was very respectful and always removed his shoes when walking through the house and he always cleaned up after each job.
