UPDATE:
Had to have the upstairs bathroom toilet reset. SJ Plumbing was the only call I had to make.
It turns out the toilet wasn't sitting on the flange because of the tile work the previous owner had done. So water leaked down into the first floor. We had a couple options; double wax ring or to use spacers to raise the sitting point. We went with spacers and changed the angle stop and hose while we were there. We had a surprise guest do the work.
Grateful to SJ Plumbing. They came out did another fantastic job.

I had a slow draining toilet and thought I needed a snake out since I had heard that term used in the past. I used Yelp, got the usual multiple responses and picked one. First one, I called SJ. A kind and knowledgeable person answered the phone! After I explained the issue I was having, Susan taught me plumbing terminology since I was clueless, gave me prices for auger (cheaper fix) and for snake (remove and reset toilet and therefore more expensive fix), helped me scheduled an appointment, and kept me in the loop for the entire process. Tim showed up on time, explained the auger and snake again to be sure I understood the cost could be different depending on what the fix requires. Tim auger my toilet and it didn't work. Tim mentioned he might have to remove the toilet for the snake. And he didn't have the matching grout around the toilet. I started to worry and see big dollar signs. Without me asking or saying anything, Tim tried the auger again and fixed my toilet! Then auger a third time just to be sure the obstruction was clear. Honest, hard working people at SJ I will trust and rely on for my future plumbing needs.

5 for a 3rd successful visits from Ricardo (previous) Tim and also Kaysea this time. Thanks to John for timely txt responses. I had 2 toilets swapped out with new TOTOs! Round to elongated, almost same size because of the upgrade. Oooeeemmggeee, what a difference!!! If you have old toilets, trust me, this is exciting!! I've hated those old toilets for 11 years... Anyhow, it was a smooth process. Respectful of my no in the house, they came with shoe covers (LOVE) on time with reminders and txt updates! Previous to this, I had a water heater that started leaking on a saturday and also be replaced by Ricardo ! I'm thankful to be able to rely on a company for my plumbing needs. It's difficult sometimes to find good service anymore. Thank you!!!!!
