I have been using siskiyou plumbing and electric for quite some time now. from the nice ladies who answer the phone to the guys they send out on the service calls....I could not ask for better!! awesome folks and excellent results every time. usually get the job done same day I call for appointment. for my plumbing and electrical needs it will be Siskiyou Plumbing and Electric every time!

So check this out. The older plumber, Rick, serviced our previous residence the day before last. The current residents moved in halfway through the month, while we moved out, with the agreement through our rental agency that we had until the end of the month to get the last of our things out of the garage. Apparently, at some point while servicing our previous residence, he asked the new residents if he could take our bee hive with honey in it and the extractor for the honey from the garage. These were literally the only items of value that we had left behind. The new resident said that he did not give permission, but Rick claims he did and took both items home with him, in his company truck. Yesterday, the last day of the month, we went to retrieve everything from our old place, including the hive and extractor and the new resident informed us of the plumber taking these items. That's a $1000 + worth of equipment. So I call today to ask nicely if it could be returned. The young lady on the phone INSISTS she knows FOR A FACT that the plumber wouldn't take anything without permission. I told her while that may be true, which of course it isn't because she was not there to observe what happened, it wasn't the current resident's permission to give and that obviously Rick knew it wasn't theirs, since he's asking to take it. No one would ask to take something from someone's house that their servicing - that's just weird. ""Oh that's a nice microwave. Can I have it?"" No. He KNEW it wasn't his to give away. And not just that, it's weird to take property from a residence you are servicing. It leaves the company you work for liable and is also super unprofessional and puts the person you are rendering services to in a really awkward position, especially with it not even being his property. It's almost like a quid pro quo situation for the resident. Also, why was he in the garage? The services he was providing were located in the shower of the bathroom. There was no reason to be in the garage. Anyway, she tells me that Rick wants to leave it ON THE CURB at the old residence and ""doesn't want to get involved"" by delivering it to our new residence. I said, ""are you kidding me? He involved himself when he took MY property without MY permission."" And then asked her, ""ok, so I work 7-5pm. If that $1000 piece of equipment gets stolen off of the curb, who is liable for it?"" She then had another older woman talk to me, who defended both the plumber and the girl who was pretty much yelling at me defending Rick. She asked me who lived at the old place now and I said I don't know their names - they would need to contact Lenita Higgs, our previous landlord. So she said ""we will do that and call you back"" and hung up. I could not believe that I did not receive an apology or explanation that made sense. I could not believe that a plumber would take advantage of a person whom he was rendering services to. I wonder what other things he is taking from other houses? I would NOT want this man in my home. I will not be using them ever again. Their lack of professionalism, ethics, and customer service has forever lost our business and anyone else that I tell about this situation - because believe me, when I tell people this story they CANNOT BELIEVE this happened and that not one person running a business took responsibility or apologized. We got our equipment back, but honestly, this all could have ended a lot better had they responded to my completely reasonable request with anything but excuses and defensiveness. Oh, and Rick was a total jerk to my SO when delivering OUR property back to him. What a piece of work. Oh, kicker - he didn't even fix the shower of the old residence. Now he has to go back there. That will be a fun trip for all. I feel sorry for the new resident and anyone else who comes into contact with this business. Good riddance!

Much more affordable than that larcenous place with the three-letter name. Seem a bit disorganized, and some of the service people look marginal at best, but they do a decent job overall. These days it's so tough to get anyone to do contractor service jobs -- I'm thankful than Siskiyou actually answers the phone, and actually sends someone to my house at all. Will keep using them until and unless something bad happens.

Called this company to install a new toilet and they were able to take care of it quickly and efficiently and on short notice even though our place is far out of town and not easy to find. Happy to pay the extra travel charge involved given our location, and the work was excellent. Recommend.

I had a plubing fiasco, I spent my morning calling every plumber on google to try to fix things asap because I have a child and not having running water isn't ideal. The receptionist was very very rude on the phone. Basically treated me like an idiot and to get a shovel and do it myself. Very rude.

As you know, almost all plumbing emergencies tend to happen after business hours, mostly because you have to be home to notice them. My first time calling Siskiyou after hours, I got a callback and decent (though expensive) service. My second time was last night, when I left two messages and got zero callbacks. This is not acceptable or professional -- I will take my plumbing/electrical emergencies elsewhere, even if I have to pay someone to drive down from Medford.

I tried couple to companies to look at the job and quote. Most of the companies never even cared to response the request. Few of them did, their quote was higher and created so much of hype, which resulted not to contact at all in future. Finally I signed contract with Siskiyou Plumbing and Electric and they did their job nicely as per promise and on time. I am 100% satisfied with them and will definitely take their services in future. I will recommend them to all of my business associates and friends. I am very happy with them.

If I could give this company a 0 I would. Do NOT recommend. My fiancé and I have one vehicle and he had to go home early from work to lessen the chance for overtime our landlord would have to pay. It was a one man job and my fiancé was there at 4 to let the guy in to fix a leaky tub. The bottom drain had to be replaced as the seal was non existent. After an hour he calls another guy over who just sat in the bathroom cracking jokes, essentially to be paid for nothing. I got off work at 5 and started walking home and at about 5:15 my fiancé texted me and said they left and he'd come pick me up. Now they are trying to charge my landlord for over an hours worth of overtime. She is a wonderful landlord and no one deserves to be taken advantage of. They lied about the time they spent and it never should've taken over an hour and the second guy was never needed. Look out, these people will take you for your money.

Come and cleaned out the sewer line to the street, but the line backed up again. Came back out and ran the rooter out to the street, as they SHOULD HAVE DONE THE FIRST TIME, and charged me for another visit. So now I have pay them an extra 75 bucks for NOTHING. The owner refused to do anything. AVOID.
