very bad experience done by not a professional plumber. came due to pipe leak, disconnect not related pipes, went away and never come back (a month already passed, of course I needed to find workaround by myself) - I wish I've never called them

CON ARTISTS ... RIP OFF ... NOT HONEST ... American Home Shield Warranty sent them out to look at our air conditioner which was not cooling. We needed a new evaporator coil AND then Sirius added on an additional $1,900 of "other" costs that they deemed necessary. AHS would only pay for the coil, and we were going to be stuck with $1,900 out of pocket for miscellaneous things that in no way shape or form affect the installation/performance of the evaporator coil. I had just lost my job due to Covid-19 and told them that we couldn't afford the $1,900 in other costs and only wanted to get what AHS would cover - the evaporation coil. After speaking to the owner for 30 minutes, he said that they would NOT install the coil if we didn't do the additional work. I had another company come out, review the bid from Sirius and this company confirmed ... we did NOT need all the additional work done. I called back, explained this to the owner and he still refused to do any work unless I forked out the additional $1,900 in bogus work. THIS IS NOT AN HONEST COMPANY. We did not follow through with them and I complained to AHS about their shady practices.

I am a warranty customer (1st strike). I was given a day for appointment, but not a time frame 8-5. I was told regular customers come first. I was told a tech would call me 30 minutes before. I called the morning of the appointment to see if I could get a window or guesstimate. No, I was told by the gentleman, Frank. 8-5. Nice tech, Kenneth showed up. I told him the story, I called a manager , who was really nice and apologetic. The company is professional, just received no help at all from representative. He mentioned twice that I was not a regular customer. That I was a "warrant y customer."

Assigned by AHS to service my furnace. The technician Steve arrived promptly. He spent considerable time troubleshooting my furnace uncovering an additional issue. He Took pictures and explained everything to me. He recommended a furnace replacement. I also ended up signing up for their gold membership plan that services your AC and furnace unit, which I later tried to cancel because I forgot I was already signed up with another company. Matt submitted the service order to AHS the same day, to get everything authorized by the next day. The technicians arrived on time for the installation. The technician explained the installment and suggested a more efficient filter to use for the new system.

The home warranty doesn't cover certain modifications that are needed for installing a furnace. Matt sent over an estimate for those modifications. Prior to the installation, I questioned a few and without argument Matt made the adjustments. After the installation, the technician confirmed that one of the modifications was not made. I reached back out to the company and after a few days, my invoice was adjusted for the difference.

Now they do offer a 5% discount for giving them a 5 star rating which I find a little sketchy but overall I am pleased with the company. I'm still waiting to get refunded for the gold membership plan that I canceled. So for now it's 4 stars.

Sirius Plumbing was sent my American Home Shield to repair a water leak in my foundation. They first quoted an OUTRAGEOUS repair estimate, until the insurance company got involved and then the estimate became reasonable. My water had to be turned off the house, and even though they knew that, their technician became ill and they had to delay the repair for a WEEK.... seems they only have one guy that can work. When the repair started, they "discovered" it was worse than expected and once again quoted an OUTRAGEOUS estimate (can you say $50,000) to repair. When I got a second estimate due to what they quoted, they got angry and decided to no longer bid on the job...they did not even come back to fill in the holes in the foundation they were paid to do. Do Not Use Them. I will not let American Home Shield send them to my house ever again.

Did a good job working on hot water heater in garage, but make sure to stay with workers. I am missing a $500 flat dolly.

Sirius Plumbing technician quoted me $1083 for unnecessary "Code" work related to replacing a failed water heater. I contacted the City of Frisco, who sent an inspector by the house to inspect the work required. Only one item in the list was actually required, gas sediment trap. All the other items quoted were not required by Code. Sirius misrepresented the necessity of the items and refused to replace the water heater without performing all the unnecessary "Code" items. I contacted the owner of Sirius, who defended his deceptive sales practices and refused to perform the work. I refused to do business with Sirius.

Two days ago we discovered that one of our hot water heaters had given up the ghost and was leaking into the carpet in the hallway where the hot water closet is located. I immediately called American Home Shield and was put in touch with Dee in the Sirius office who scheduled us for the next day....bear in mind this is Christmas week.

Yesterday, the service technician, Albert, arrived within the time frame stated and in two hours had the required code updates and the installation of the new heater completed. Yes, we had to pay more than AHS allowed because of needed updates to the plumbing, but this was expected as the old heater and installation was probably 20 or more years old. We expected this as we had been through the same issue with another hot water heater in our home which we had replaced several years ago by another company. This is no fault of Sirius....AHS coverage has its limits and we accept that. All in all we are way to the good on major repairs completed through the warranty.

We were treated with the utmost courtesy by Dee in the Sirius office and Albert the technician who did a great, very neat job.....not to say that others have not had issues, but I'm pretty certain our good experience is not unique!

American Home Shield sent Sirius to troubleshoot my AC. After the service call the determined the evaporator needed to be replaced I received an email quote. Even though we had home warranty the quote was for over $2,000. It included lot of things that did not seem necessary. I called and left a message and replied to the original email with questions for clarification. I never received and replay or return call.

The quote included a $250 warranty discount but AHS told gave $470 cash towards repairs with another company.

The quote also included a discount for almost $200 for a "5 star Review" so they are buying good reviews.

I had another company perform the repair. They said some things Sirius quoted were unnecessary like replacing the drip pan which was perfectly fine. They performed the repair for much less and provided a 2 year warranty.
