Two days ago we discovered that one of our hot water heaters had given up the ghost and was leaking into the carpet in the hallway where the hot water closet is located. I immediately called American Home Shield and was put in touch with Dee in the Sirius office who scheduled us for the next day....bear in mind this is Christmas week.
Yesterday, the service technician, Albert, arrived within the time frame stated and in two hours had the required code updates and the installation of the new heater completed. Yes, we had to pay more than AHS allowed because of needed updates to the plumbing, but this was expected as the old heater and installation was probably 20 or more years old. We expected this as we had been through the same issue with another hot water heater in our home which we had replaced several years ago by another company. This is no fault of Sirius....AHS coverage has its limits and we accept that. All in all we are way to the good on major repairs completed through the warranty.
We were treated with the utmost courtesy by Dee in the Sirius office and Albert the technician who did a great, very neat job.....not to say that others have not had issues, but I'm pretty certain our good experience is not unique!

American Home Shield sent Sirius to troubleshoot my AC. After the service call the determined the evaporator needed to be replaced I received an email quote. Even though we had home warranty the quote was for over $2,000. It included lot of things that did not seem necessary. I called and left a message and replied to the original email with questions for clarification. I never received and replay or return call.
The quote included a $250 warranty discount but AHS told gave $470 cash towards repairs with another company.
The quote also included a discount for almost $200 for a "5 star Review" so they are buying good reviews.
I had another company perform the repair. They said some things Sirius quoted were unnecessary like replacing the drip pan which was perfectly fine. They performed the repair for much less and provided a 2 year warranty.

Unfortunately, I don't think this review is going to reveal anything new here, but I can and will confirm what others have posted previously.
Water Heater wasn't working early Saturday morning, so I submitted a service request with American Home Shield. The job was assigned to Sirius, who only reached out AFTER I called AHS to cancel the request due to non-response from Sirius. Being an emergency situation on a Saturday, I decided to allow the job to be reassigned to Sirius.
The technician came out, took a look at the water heater, and said it's bad and needs to be replaced. I thought, "Fine, that's why I have a home warranty." I knew something was amiss when he said he needed to go outside and find out what's covered and what's not.
He came back in and said AHS is covering a new water heater and installation, but you need to pay me $915 for "code upgrades" out-of-pocket. Of course, I refused and told him I needed to talk to AHS regarding this. He told me they were supposed to call me and proceeded to ask for my signature in his paperwork. Of course, I refused.
After waiting for about 10 minutes with no call from AHS, I proceeded to call them. Coincidentally, the technician supposedly got an emergency call and had to leave. No work was done to fix my issue -- he didn't even drain the standing water from the leaking water heater!
After speaking with AHS, they advised me to request a line-itemized quote for what is allegedly needed, but not covered by my home warranty. I did that two-days ago. No response.
Later that evening, I realized that I now have no water pressure in my bathroom closest to the water heater location...not even cold water. This was fine before Sirius came out. Both AHS and I have sent communications for them to come back out and address that issue - I even left a voicemail message for the owner who responds to Yelp reviews. Guess what? No response.
I am about to call AHS again to try to get this sorted out. However, as several others have stated, unless you want to be ripped off and have more issues than before, AVOID SIRIUS AT ALL COSTS!

Highly Recommend. We use to service our air conditioning system. They stand behind their work.

My AC was broken recently, and I called another company I also found on Yelp to come out, but after describing the issue to them over the phone, they told me it might be a plumbing issue. So I searched some more and found Sirius Plumbing and AC because they fix both ACs and plumbing and were located close to me. I figured I would give them a try. The appointment was easy to make, and they had same day availability, which I liked a lot. The serviceman came out, did what he had to do, told me all was good, got my money, and left. Well, ends up the issue was NOT fixed. I had to call back the next day and make another appointment, and they had to send a second repairman out the following day after that, as no same day appointments were available by that time. Luckily, they did not charge me anything for the follow up, as they did not properly fix the issue the first time around. But another problem arose with the AC! I called another company this time and they let me know that Sirius really messed up my AC! They somehow removed a necessary part while they were fixing it! I thought they were professionals but clearly they are not!Really upsetting!

Great work by the Sirius Team with replacing the main water line to my home. Everyone at Sirius is professional and honest, from the office staff to the onsite team. Would use them again for my plumbing needs.

I have a home warranty and they wanted $980 for code upgrades for a water heater that the warranty company was paying for. Their Website states that they never charge more than $450 for code upgrades but since I am a home warranty customer that doesn't apply to me.

Pretty bad service, rude customer service and long wait time to get things do. More important they charge too much!!!
Avoid as a plague!!!

Our central heat went out over Christmas. We have American Home Shield so by chance, they sent out Sirius to service it. Turns out we needed a new unit in the attic. The unit was the original with the house (so over 10 years). We didn't have the money to pay for a new unit since AHS didn't cover all of it. However, Matt worked with us so we could get it done immediately. This was the coldest week we had so far this year so I was more than grateful! He said he didn't want us going that long without head and I can't thank him enough. The guys came and installed it and it didn't work exactly right after a few hours. Turns out it was a manufacturer defect on one part of the unit. They got the part and installed it promptly. It now runs & heats perfectly! Matt, John & the crew really took care of us. Everyone was courteous, quick and friendly.

I went through our home warranty company and was assigned Sirius Plumbing to figure out why our water bill was so high. They came out and could not figure the problem out so they got approved to send a leak detection company to see if we had a slab leak. No leak was detected. They did say three of our toilets were running and replace the flapper and fill valve in those. We are not living in the house- so the plumber and I both left approx 1:00pm. The next day, a realtor showing our house walked in to the house and water was pouring from the upstairs bathroom to the dining room below. They quickly turned the water to the toilet off and called me. I called Sirius and they sent out their guys and a restoration company. Sirius seemed to want to work with us to resolve this - and then things went sideways. First, they said they could not "recreate" the problem - so there wasn't an issue. Second- the restoration guy found a bit of mold in the ceiling (from a previous bath tub leak) and Sirius decided at that point that they were not responsible for any of the damage to my home- not only that- they left without fixing the toilet AND they left the water to the toilet ON! I just spoke with the water company and they said the water started running at 1pm and stopped at noon the next day (when the realtor came in). I called and paid for my own plumber to come out and assess and fix the toilet and he said the flange was cracked and a pipe was cracked- someone had turned or "torqued" the toilet and cause the damage. He fixed my issues and we are now having to fix the ceiling below. In the meantime- our house has been pulled off the market since Nov 28th. The leak began as soon as the plumber left my house. That cannot be a coincidence- the Sirius Plumber was responsible and there is no way you can convince me otherwise- AND I had to pay $125 for their service call.
