07/25 AHS, America Home Sheid, a home warranty company sent Sirius Tech to check our Carrier Unit that trips the breaker. Come to find out he wrote the paperwork in a way so I would have to pay it instead of AHS. ($2500 for a Evap Coil....Robbery!) I read other reviews on AHS and Sirius and they have a history of this. I have had nightmare dealing with AHS on this going back to July 3. Its now July 25 and this was the last straw. Im filling complaints and bring a case to TDI and Texas Dept of Licensing. Im also going to file BBB complaints as well as reach out to the Texas Attny General to file Fraud via Service and Warranty denied claims. (Deception Sales Practices)

WHY ON EARTH is it so hard to find an honest and dependable AC technician. Well, this time, Im not some dumb uneducated hick! Ive done my homework on this job and for the next few weeks, Im extremely determined to tell my story via social media as well as file my complaints. Next Stop, FaceBook, Instagram and TikTok. Ive had it with liars trying to gouge us in 100 Degree Weather! This is a crime and it must stop!

DO NOT USE SIRIUS, DO NOT EVER PURCHASE an AHS POLICY! you will regret it and get ripped off!

UPDATE 07/30:
Sirius Tech wrote it up that I needed to have CODE UPDATES before the Coil could be installed. (Nice try, CODE UPDATE SCAM is not new! So, the entire things is on hold until I pay $2500 for CODE UPDATES before a Coil can be installed. So I called another AC company.....and Bingo! An Honest Tech...explained to me about how the "CODE UPDATE SCAM" works and how by writing it up needing an "UPDATE" AHS knows it will never have to buy a Coil since the homeowner will not pay for so called CODE UPDATES. Nice Try.....Got all my evidence aligned and I cant wait to have my hearing with the Texas Licensing Board and the Texas Attny General Consumer Affairs Dept and show them exactly whats been going on with a BAD AC company and a BAD Warranty Company! Absolutely Criminal!

UPDATE: 08/16/2024
STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. COMPANY HAS REFUSED TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. TURNS OUT THE TECHNICIAN ALSO DAMAGED THE COIL DURING INSPECTION. BUYER BEWARE! CASE and COMPLAINTS SILL ONGOING WITH THE AG and TDI.

I just had a water heater replaced by Sirius Plumbing and Air Conditioning. The team sent out by Sirius was exceptional. Billy diagnosed the problem and helped me deal with American Home Shield. Matty and Kameron did the installation.

All 3 technicians were terrific. I was introduced to Sirius Plumbing about 3 years ago. I have not been disappointed. These guys are knowledgeable professionals, they know what they are doing, do it well, and are really nice. AHS was a disappointment but the Sirius guys were great!! Thanks for your help.

Needed two faucets installed and had them replace 6 shutoff valves. The faucet replacement is a flat $255 per faucet. They charged me an additional roughly $500 for $80 in parts that I could get at Home Depot. I called their office and the manager (Jesse) would not budge on price. Stay away from this company. I have been a customer for a few years now, both plumbing and air conditioning, and will never use them again. I will tell everyone I know to stay away also.

Stay far away from this company! They gave us a written quote and then once it was time for the work to start they doubled it. Basically holding us hostage since we needed the repairs done. DO NOT use them.

Mathew from Sirius did a very professional job replacing an exposed high voltage wire powering my air conditioner unit, I would recommend him and this firm for HVAC repairs

Update from review dated 7/25/2023 - While the a/c & plumbing problem we experienced earlier did not sit well with us, the Fall/Winter Check-up we had signed up for with the "Maintenance Savings Plan" went very well.

Once again Sirius Plumbing has done a great job! When you call to request service you are greeted with a nice and helpful person (Ashley). With the cold weather we have been having I figured I would have to wait days to get my leak fixed. I did not. Dillon called to tell me he was available. He was pleasant and professional and friendly. This company does a FABULOUS JOB hiring QUALITY people!!! This is the third time I have used Sirius Plumbing. They are professional, they explain charges prior to doing work and their employees are great!! I highly recommend Sirius Plumbing!

The issue is, SIRIUS PLUMBING & AIR CONDITIONING INC installed the water heater without giving me time to get the hole in the wall fixed, the hole they made to fix a water leak inside the wall. Now, to fix the hole in the wall, the water heater must be removed. To remove the water heater and put it back along with city inspection, it is costing me $1532. IF SIRIUS PLUMBING & AIR CONDITIONING INC did not put the water heater back before the hole in the wall is fixed, the $1532 expense would not have been there.

If SIRIUS PLUMBING & AIR CONDITIONING INC had told me and not install the water heater without me fixing the hole they made by SIRIUS PLUMBING & AIR CONDITIONING INC, I don't have to spend $1532 to remove the water heater and re-install. Because of the SIRIUS PLUMBING & AIR CONDITIONING INC mis-steps and not communicating to me the right action, it is costing me $1532 to remove the water heater, repair the hole in the wall, re-install the water heater and city inspected.

American Home Shield assigned our job to Sirius - and I'm glad they chose this company. Everything was handled well. And, Cody, the tech assigned to the job was excellent - he's the person I will ask for when we need service. He was able to make suggestions and give me some ideas on operation and maintenance that I'm sure will prove valuable.

If you're in Frisco, ask for Billy! Such a big help. He explained everything, each step of the way. I learned a lot. Plus he loves dogs and didn't mind my bulldog following him around!
