I called Dominick late Sunday afternoon for a severely clogged drain that wouldn't allow us to use the bathtub or sink. I had tried for hours to clean it myself with no luck. He came out right away. It was a more difficult job than we expected, but he worked through it for us late into the evening.

Fantastic service! Dominick runs a great business. The first time I called for an appointment, he actually helped me fix my own toilet for free by giving advice over the phone. Seriously! I told him I was saving his number in my phone as ""plumber"" and he'd get all my business in the future.

So when my toilet broke again recently, I gave Dominick a call. He answers the calls himself and is very easy to work with. He gave me options, prices, pros and cons - without pressuring me one way or another. He fixed the toilet quickly and taught me a thing or two about plumbing at the same time. Cannot recommend Sinks-N-Sumps highly enough.

Dominick was great. He came very promptly - about two hours after I called...wow. He does great work and is great at explaining what was wrong. I ended up replacing my garbage disposal and it cost much less than what I was expecting and it is much quieter than the old one. Great work!

We called Sinks-N-Sumps when we had a clog in our pipes that caused our faucets to stop working all of a sudden. We needed help fast as we were heading out of town the next day. We called Dominic at noon and he made it to our place in Lincoln Park by 1:30! He was able to quickly fix one of our sinks and made the necessary repairs to the other sink (including new faucet installation) very quickly and efficiently. He also ensured that we could see for ourselves that everything was working correctly and that nothing was leaking by the time he left.
In addition, he offered to fix a loose toilet seat in our bathroom (noticed while fixing the sink) just to be a nice guy!
We were very happy with the level of courtesy and professionalism Dominic demonstrated throughout what was a bit of a stressful experience overall. As icing on the cake, he then sent us a thank you card a few days later! All of the extra touches like that made us very happy with our decision to call him and certain to hire him again in the future should the need arise. In fact, we've already recommended him to other friends!

A+ customer service, great efficiency, and fair prices - can't beat that in Chicago!

With the recent storms my sump pump stopped working so after assessing what i was going to have to do I realized I had to modernize my system,after a little research I came across sinks and sumps.I called and dominick answered I made the appointment for the following day.dominick arrived on time,he was very professional and knowledgeable, he recommended what should be done and the price was right,actually thought is was going to be more.He did a fantastic job,and I highly recommend sinks and sumps to anyone looking for quality plumbing work.

We've used this company three times. The first was to remove and replace in a more orderly fashion the drain pipes for our dual kitchen sink. The contractor who installed the sink was not himself a plumber and had created a Rube Goldberg-type of pipe arrangement that was constantly loosening and leaking. Dominick Gatto, the owner of this company, worked under the sink for over an hour to create something rationale that still left us some storage space underneath. We've called him twice to repair parts on a 22-year old toilet. Rather than trying to sell us a new toilet, Dominick advised us to keep this one as long as possible because ""when you replace a toilet, you never know what kinds of costly problems you'll find underneath."" He's cost-conscious on behalf of the customer. Every time he's been very responsive and accommodating to our schedule. I think his labor charge is competitive and he really stands behind the work he does.

I have to say when my sink started to back up I was nervous but as I googled a plumber I clicked on this company and I called up and Dominic picked up And from the start he was very polite and extremely knowledgable about my problem and I highly recommend him and this company because it all starts with customer service and he gets a A +
