We contacted Simulis to repair a leaky toilet and to replace a hose on our dishwasher. The plumber was rude and did not listen when I told him that we already had the toilet hardware. He did a half-ass job on the toilet and then told me ""I can't pull the dishwasher out. Call me back when you get it out."" For this I paid $400. When I called back to have him come back for the dishwasher the receptionist was rude and abrasive. I got a new plumber who fixed it for a quarter of the cost and he was pleasant to boot. Will never use Simulis again.

We recently moved to Worcester and of course had a plumbing emergency in our new home. It is an old home so we knew there might be issues. We called Simulis Plumbing and they made us a priority and came out right away. Dennis who was the plumber who responded to the call was awesome. He was so professional, helpful and knew how to diagnosis the problem right away. He really know his stuff and worked through the issue until we had complete resolution. Tom, the owner was honest and trustworthy and as it turned out to be a major problem, we felt we were in great hands the whole way. The whole crew that worked together on the problem were great. They spent 4 days at our home until all the issues were completely resolved. We were lucky to connect with Simulis Plumbing and they will definitely be our go to company for any future needs. If you need to call a plumbing company, don't hesitate to call Simulis Plumbing. You can't go wrong and won't be disappointed.

I find their service quite good, although I agree with others, that they are expensive. I asked for a quote for a generator and the quote was $26,000. I ended up getting a top of the line Generac from Home Depot for $9,000. Either they didn't know what they were doing or they were trying to pull a fast one. Both are equally bad.

We recently had Tom Simulus visit or house on two different occasions to explain how he would install air conditioning. Tom is knowledgeable, patient, very helpful and honest. After we understood the job, everything went smoothly. The personable crew arrived on time with the equipment which was installed and working as agreed. The team was very helpful in explaining the operation, left a clean work area. Tom followed up with a call in a few days to make sure that everything was working correctly.
We've suggested to our kids that they call Tom and discuss air conditioning.
Knowledgeable, personable, honest, cost effective. We'll call Tom if we have any plumbing/heating needs,

DO NOT hire this company! They require your credit card number up front - what legitimate service company does that? They called an hour before they were supposed to arrive and would not come to the appointment unless I gave them my credit card number. Red flags went up in my head but my house was at 85 degrees and the AC had to be fixed immediately so I gave them my credit card info. They came and changed the filters on the AC system and tested the system. They were at my house for one hour and charged $350 to my credit card for the service appointment. After all that it was still 85 degrees in my house a day later. When I called back they said well the entire ductwork probably needs to be cleaned. I said how much is that? They replied around $900. I repeat DO NOT hire this company.

I've used Simulis Plumbing for a couple of years now, and they're terrific. I'll be honest, I've tried other plumbers because it's so expensive to have any plumbing done. Well, you get what you pay for. I've had problems with other plumbers doing shoddy work, and in one instance, a plumber employed by the previous owners of my house caused us a $17,000 problem a month after we moved in. Simulis fixed it, and they did a FANTASTIC job. I've called on them again and again as things from the previous plumber's work have failed, and I have never had to call Simulis back to fix it again because they do it right, and it lasts. My most recent experience with them was terrific when they fixed a very expensive Kohler kitchen faucet that the previous plumber had installed incorrectly when we had our kitchen remodeled. This faucet never seemed stable, and twisted around a lot, and the handle was installed on the wrong side because the previous plumber said the space was too tight and difficult to get into to install it the way we wanted. Well, when the handle broke off, Simulis came in and installed the free parts Kohler sent us, and not only did they fix the broken handle, they made the faucet stable once and for all, AND installed the handle on the correct side that we wanted! Every time I have Simulis Plumbing into my old house, they do the job and they do it professionally and right. They've done everything from replacing a 3-story, 100-year-old cast iron stack, to flushing our steam-heat radiators and boilers once a year, to repairing a corroded steel nipple (another remnant from the past shoddy plumber) on a hand-held shower nozzle with a brass one. I rarely write reviews, but I appreciate Simulis Plumbing's work enough that I want other people to know how good they are.

My boiler stopped working overnight on 3/19/2017-3/20/2017. I called Simulis Plumbing on a Monday morning. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. She arranged to have someone come out to my home that afternoon between the hours of 12-4. The technician arrived around 2:15 and left before 3:00 telling me the boiler was fixed. But after my smoke alarms went off and my basement filled with smoke/steam the technician returned and said there were other things wrong with the boiler.

My positives:
1. All my interactions with the receptionist were positive.
2. My interactions with Mr. Tom Simulis, the owner, were also positive. It was kind of him to be willing to put the cost of the repairs towards the purchase of a new boiler.
3. Everything that the technician told me was wrong with my boiler was correct so he did know what he was talking about. I know this because I had my boiler repaired by another party and they replaced the exact parts he identified that day.

My negatives:
1. I feel that the technician should have told me what was wrong with the boiler and the cost of the repair before he started working on it.
2. I also feel that if the technician had taken the time to check to see if the boiler, heat and hot water was actually working before he left my home, the entire situation with my basement filling with smoke and scaring me and the children could of been avoided. He would of likely noticed that the system was not fixed and diagnosed the other problems then fixed those and we would have been blissfully unaware that the home could of caught on fire. That is my main concern in this instance. The home could of caught on fire if I had not taken the day off to remain at home that day. It is a scary realization to know your home could of caught on fire. If I had left after the technician told me everything was ok, there could of been disastrous results. Thank goodness this did not happen.
3. Once I declined further repairs the technician left my home in a mess. He left the new electric panel open with exposed wires. My boiler now had multiple drips, a constant leak and no heat and hot water. He pretty much made my situation worse.

Called today for a quote on a repair, the person that answered the phone tried to speak to me like a child on how business works. The person I spoke to was rude, loud, and ignorant. If this company has people like this answering the phone, I would want them in my house. Aweful first impression. Beware.

I am torn about Simulis.
Let's start with the good part. Simulis provides good service. They will come out on Christmas Eve if it needs to be. They don't make you wait days if you have a problem and will even drive to a different state to get you a part. Awesome.
Now the bad. There are three complaints. First, they have one or two guys, which are plain rude. They talked down to my wife end essentially are.... rude. Secondly, you sometimes have to double check the quality of their work. The'll come back and fix any complaints you may have until you're satisfied though. The big problem is, they are EXPENSIVE. Simulis did a main pipe clean out at our house twice. First visit, $800. Second visit $750. After the problem came back a third time, we called a different plumber, who did the same service for $150 AND told us why the problem keeps coming back AND fixed the problem - replacing a section of pipe - for another $150.

My verdict: great service, shitty attitude and high prices.

These guys are a bunch of overcharging clowns. One of my rental properties had a water heater that was leaking. I called and was told that it would cost me around $1800 to have it installed, and that is before cost of the tank is included!
