I have never had a worse experience with a plumber. I called them for a second opinion after a plumber quoted me $375 for replacing one P trap because I had a leak. They quoted me $470 to replace both, saying both needed to be replaced. I said fine, I didn't want to bother with this anymore. An hour into the work, they called me back and told me I needed to have my entire drain system replaced and it would cost me $1470. They also quoted me $400 to replace my faucet. I told them I couldn't afford that. I paid them the $470 and had my building engineer, who is a licensed plumber (highlrise unit) but is not allowed to perform work in units for pay to come in and take a look. He said the drain system does not need to be replaced, and that the work done to replace the p traps needs to be redone. The pipes were literally loose, and would soon leak. I have never had an experience like this. When I reached back out via text he responded with swearing at me and telling me I am full or #*it. Beware, can't understand how they are so well reviewed. Highly unethical company.

These guys are simply THE BEST. We needed some emergency electrical work done and I texted them at all hours of the night because I was so scared. They came right away and Darryl and Dylan treated us like family. I highly recommend them and they gave us a good price. They stayed all day to get the job done and I truly appreciate them. I had a great experience with Sims and Sons. They installed two new electrical outlets and replaced a dimmer. Andy and Richard were very professional and did a great job. They left everything very clean, which was much appreciated since there was a lot of plaster dust involved with the project. Would recommend!

Requested a quote and an appointment was scheduled and confirmed. The owner called one hour before the 3 hour appointment window was going to close and said an inspector was lat. He then requested that I send pictures instead of meeting. Sent pictures and this was the text received from the owner.

And $180 per hour after that plus material. This is a completely open ended quote and a waste of time. I am not sure this is the professionalism that meets any customers expectations.

Sims and Sons is the most amazing company ever! Am going through a health issue & night before Thanksgiving had no kitchen light. Was devastating. Live in a high rise with strict building. This gentleman was incredible helping make sure fixed that evening as have special needs as well. Darrell and his brother not only are knowledgeable but have the kind of caring ethic any company should have and more. So grateful. They are coming to change light in shower. This family run co. speaks for itself and highly recommended them!

After dealing with some broken outlets and breakers, I called Sims & Sons to get a quote for service. On the phone call, Darrell was able to do some initial troubleshooting based on my situation and give me peace of mind that the fix would be easy. His electrician was at my place about an hour later and the whole thing was fixed quickly. I also got advice on how to avoid breaking things again Super positive experience, friendly staff, and best price I got -- I'll definitely be using Sims & Sons again.

We had an appointment scheduled for October 12th. Darryl Sims called to say he had to pick up his son, so he had to cancel our appointment. No problem.. He'd have someone come out on Friday the 13th, Andy, the electrician looked at our repair, took some photos and told us he didn't do estimates. Some one would call. Today is October 23rd. We were never contacted with an estimate. If they didn't want the job, they should have just let us know. Not very professional.
