I learned about Simply Plumbing (Adrian Allen) when my home warranty sent him for a plumbing issue several years ago. I will say that he was the best plumber sent by them. Knowledgeable and informative. However, last year is when things went bad and Adrian showed me what many others have experienced. Apparently, he is trying to grow his business from Simply Plumbing to Renovations. PLEASE KNOW YOUR LIMITATIONS!! Because of this he seems to need more money. My experiences were as follows: 1) Had a leak in the kitchen of a rental property Adrian had worked at numerous times. This property is known to spring pinhole leaks in the copper piping, so I had begun the process of changing all copper to pex with Adrian's help. This time he said I needed a new water heater. I asked if he was sure it was not the copper pipes and he said yes. He changed the water heater ($1250) and there was still water coming into the kitchen. He checked and said, it's not the new water heater, you must have water coming up through slab. He tried to get me to put in a claim with my insurance, but the denied it. So he had me put in a claim with the home warranty company, who only paid part. I paid for tearing up the slab out of my pocket. Only, when he removed the water heater, he MAGICALLY discovered it was """"the copper pipes leaking"""" after all. He did not refund me for the misdiagnosed water heater or for the money I paid for the slab work. At the same time he was working on a bath renovation project at my home. I noticed he would only provide verbal quotes (even when I asked for it in writing). Seeing the potential issues ahead, I started writing down EVERYTHING he quoted as he said it. So when he tried to play his game and mansplain """"how the plumbing industry works"""", I pulled out my notes and he had to backtrack. Then he has poor quality workers who don't know what they are doing. My shower floor looked like a skate park when the guy finished. I had to get an inspector before Adrian would believe that it was wrong, then he was asking the inspector how to do it (reimbursed for labor and materials for poor installation, but not to demo the crappy work and rebuild the drain), They busted a hole in the exterior wall of my bathroom when they demoed the floor & cut into the wall behind the sink when they changed the plumbing (never came back to fix it), They had to move the plumbing and wiring for the tub after they ignored my instructions on where it should be placed (they did move the plumbing, but not the wiring), they reinstalled my faucets incorrectly (did not come to fix) they broke my wall mirror when removing (never reimbursed), they did not protect my home properly from all of the dust from the demo (next company showed me how it should have been done). To make matters worse, just like someone else stated, he kept showing up late or not at all with no explanation or apology. This made my potentially 2 month project extend for 6 months! I finally fired him and hired a new contractor to help me repair his mistakes and get the project completed. Yes, I will see Adrian Allen/Simply Plumbing, LLC in court, even though he will let his license with the Secretary of State """"Administratively dissolve"""" when he knows someone is looking to sue him. I really liked working with Adrian and was glad to have a black-owned small business I could proudly support. What a shame!

I was left without the the use of my bathrooms because of a sewer blockage simple Plumbing inform me that they would come out and fix the problem after more than several texts they never came left me without bathrooms for the weekend until I contacted someone else. They have the worst customer service.

This Plumbing Company is not reliable and failed to follow up and complete work after being paid a $75 service fee. This company lacks the knowledge and abilities to do plumbing . STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!!

In 2017 I engaged Simply Plumbing to quote water damage in my aunt's kitchen. He worked with me to submit estimates to address the work. The floor work was stellar. The cabinetry was terrible. And it was never ever corrected. The plumbing was done and acceptable. The carpeting work was acceptable. But something as simple as connecting the newly installed dishwasher was never done. Whenever he said he'd come over he'd be hours late with no apology. The last straw was yelling at me. After getting thousands of dollars as the general contractor, I got yelled at. I finally said for him not to come back. Instead I paid my Handiman to do the work I just could not get Adrian to do. It's taken me all these years to write this review. I should've gotten reviews before engaging Adrian. Had I known, I would not have engaged him to do general contracting work. Instead, just routine plumbing work only. Please know who you are engaging. I don't want any response from Simply Plumbing.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Fraud company as well!! DO NOT HIRE THEM!! I did not pick them by choice but choice home warranty picked this trash company for my service. They waited an hour after they were supposed to be here to tell me that they need to reschedule another day. I had to file a complaint and speak to a manager at choice home warranty about this trash company ! They didnt even apologize about the inconvenience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

QUA-LI-TY!! Simply Plumbing is professional and does quality work. They don't try to stick you up like other contractors. They installed plumbing for my restauraunt and did a spectacular job. Their now my go to's for any plumbing job!

Adrian and his team came out on time and replaced my hot water tank within hours. My crawlspace under my house flooded about 3 feet. Adrian came on a Sunday morning to drain the water. Then promptly Monday morning his team came to complete the job with the new unit AND new pipes, etc that were NEEDED so it would be up to code. He was upfront with the pricing and did not go over the agreed amount. Adrian and his team were professional. Simply Plumbing was recommended to me by a family member. I was skeptical after seeing the reviews.So glad I decided to give them a try. ALWAYS do your research...many of these home warranty companies are a SCAM bc a majority of items are NOT covered in your policy; many times you come out better just paying out of pocket.

Please look at the google reviews for this excuse of a company!!! Please do not do business with Adrian. He worked on our bathroom for over two months we started with a shower that was leaking. $5000 in and we still have a shower that is leaking. And he now refuses to work on it to fix it. Adrian was extremely irresponsible with our keys and while we were not home we had many of the workers and their friends hanging out at our house. Very unprofessional company do not do business with them . I will be suing them

I called Adrian for my dad and he totally ripped him off. Charged him almost $300 for a job another plumber said should've been $75. Never again! I only wish I could've been there when he overcharged him.

Similar to the recent post, Adrian is a scam artist and fraud. Do not hire them. His unlicensed technician made our problem worse and then Adrian sends us a ludacris quote for the repair that was unnecessary because there is a clean out. Ignore whatever reply Adrian posts here. He tried to educate me on """"how it is in the plumbing world"""" (to justify his bs). He saw an opportunity to prey on a new home owner and took it. Luckily we found the clear out that """"didn't exist"""". We've reported his fraud to 2-10 warranty so hopefully he is never hired by them again.
