We had the main water line to our house break in the night. Called for 3 quotes. Simply better plumbing was not only the best quote, they also came out immediately. Both employees were kind, honest, and very hardworking. They respected us and our property. They spent 6 hours digging in a new line for us during 114 degree heat. Everything was done perfectly to my expectation and worked as expected. I highly recommend the business and the techs.

After dealing with several companies more interested in upselling us into enormous and unnecessary bills, we turned to Simply Better Plumbing due to their apparent concern for customer satisfaction. My wife interviewed Don and found him to be genuine. His technician was on time and solved several issues for a fraction of the cost proposed by the other companies, and was real pleasant to work with. We are extremely satisfied and highly recommend this organization.

I am going to continue my reviews until Tom Eckert and Don Paz at Simply Better Plumbing fix the problems they caused. I just got my wall repaired after the water damage they caused from incorrectly installing a new water heater that flooded my laundry room.

The water heater is leaking at certain and further, the tank was too large for the space and did not allow proper room for clearance of the copper pipe that carries water to the tank. Regardless of this, they were insistent in installing this specific tank, which is oddly shaped and I am sure was sitting on their hands and they wanted to get rid of it.

The copper pipes carry condensation and where it pushed up next to the tank, the tank has rusted and corroded. On a tank that was installed on Oct 22. We have called and emailed Simply Better Plumbing to honor the warranty on their work, and you would think after all the trouble they have caused that they would be keen on making right their wrongs. Instead we are given the run-around with no one responding and when we give them a call, Tom gives his famous non-answer answers of ""I will let them know."" In the meantime, we are again without hot water as we are waiting for them to come and take a look at the problem.

Please do not work with them. Please, please please, do not work with them. They are not good or honest people.

I had an excellent experience with Simply Better Plumbing and will be using them for all my plumbing needs in the future. First, Louis came out to give a quote. I have had multiple companies out to fix my daughter's shower. Some of them talked about searching for hard to get new hardware and some said we would have to rip out the whole shower wall to fix it. Louis looked at it, determined that it was still in working order, tightened it up and got it working within a few minutes!!! And this was just while he was out for a quote. To think that the other companies would have gladly taken hundreds of dollars and done drastic work that didn't need to be done made it a no-brainer to choose this company.

On the day of the work Louis came and tackled the jobs. There were some complications and he stayed for hours until it was working and everything was fixed the way it should be. His dedication and attention to detail was excellent.

I am glad to have a plumber on call that I know will be fair, honest, and do good work. I highly recommend them.

A wonderful company to do business with. Don and his crew were so good, even when my house gave them problems. They just fixed the issue and continued on with the job. This company far exceeded my expectations. We had a main water line leak, and I called to ask if they did leak detection. Right off the bat, they saved me money by telling me the leak detection was a waste of money in my case, because it would be more cost effective in the long run to just replace rather than repair (this was confirmed by a plumber friend of ours who didn't have the right equipment to do the repair himself).

Our family friend helped us make an informed decision, by telling us what method would make the best repair, and what materials are best to use. I called Don (the owner) to confirm what method and materials they would be using, and it was what our friend recommended. I told our friend the quoted price, and he said to take it because it was a good deal.

Next, they came out quickly, and on time. They were very careful in their work. They had to dig some of our bushes up to get to the water line, but they cut them out in a perfect square, and when all the work was done, I couldn't even tell the bushes had ever been removed. SBP&D did the work for $1100 that another plumbing company quoted us $3500 for. Not to mention the fact that this other company wanted to rip up our driveway, which SBP&D didn't do, and we would have had to pay to repair, on top of their quoted $3500. All in all, I'm very grateful I found this company. They were pleasant to work with, reasonably priced, and skilled and knowledgeable in their trade. Thank you!!

UPDATE

My husband and I found after a week or so that our leak was still running underground. We had to have the SBP&D team come back for a 2nd repair. It was inconvenient because they had to dig up the yard again and fix the leak a 2nd time, but I was glad they came out and did so. They didn't charge us anything to come back.

Next we had our hot water heater go out. We called the guys to come back again since they had done our other repair. They came the next day and charged us $50 to relight our pilot light, and said that was the only problem. We had been smelling gas in the garage intermittently, but they assured us there was no gas leak. After they left, the gas smell got stronger, so we called SW gas to come check it out. They found a gas leak at the water heater, and said the tube that feeds gas to the pilot light was completely disconnected, and was a serious safety hazard. They were very surprised the plumber missed this. I called to let them know what they had missed, and they told me I must be mistaken. The owner said he would refund my $50, which they haven't yet done. (This was Weds, we paid with a debit card, and Monday he said the check is in the mail..) We had to have a new water heater installed, for which we used a different plumber. I wouldn't use these guys because it seems they can't get things right the first time. And when I called back with issues concerning their repairs, they were less than receptive.

Don came out the same day replaced 2 hose bibs and helped with a bigger issue he found. The key here was that they came out the same day! Called them at 9am, they were out by 3pm. Thanks guys!

When I called they gave me a one hour window (not 5 hours) they showed 15 min. Prior to the window and completed work prior to quoted time frame window of 1-2 pm. They quoted me a range it would cost and the cost came in the middle of the quote despite the trouble they had getting the original faucet out. They left my home clean and made sure I was happy the technician even asked if I had any thing else I needed taken care of.

I called to get several quotes, one quote came in $15 more than what this company charged and required a 20% deposit prior to coming out. Not sure why a competitor would require a deposit on a visit that is labor only, I could understand if they were supplying a special order part or something. Anyway I have to say you can not go wrong with Simply Better Plumbing and Drain they are fantastic and I will recommend them to everyone!! Hats off to honesty and superior service, and integrity goes a long way!!

They live up to their name! My house had several minor leaks, and one in the laundry room that was threatening to be not so minor. I had 2 leaky bathroom faucets (in separate bathrooms), a leak in my laundry lines, a tub faucet that was loose, and my kitchen sink was leaking as well. When they looked at everything, they pointed out that my piping under the sink was also way outdated and not up to code. Also, the rubber ring in the sink to the disposal was gone. They offered to try to just fix the old faucets, and the price for all jobs together was extremely low. But they warned that sometimes it is not reliable and they end up leaking again. They did not pressure me, but just laid out options. So, not wanting the hassle of having a leak recur, i had them replace the bathroom faucets. They also replaced a third so that they would all match. The new faucets are much prettier and up to date, and 100% guaranteed by them. The price they quoted me to replace 3 bathroom faucets (including hardware umdeneath the cabinets), tighten the bathtub faucet, replace both laundry line hardware, fix the leak, piping, and disposal ring in the kitchen, was still, very reasonable considering it was several jobs. Additionally, after they had quoted me the price, when they were updating the pipes under the sink, they realized they had to replace more of it than they thought to make it fit right. They did not add any more to the original estimate for this. This work was done end of December, and it is now May and all is holding up great! They were friendly, polite, and very honest. I used to always feel anxiety over which company to call when an issue would come up, but these guys are now my clear cut Go-to!

Don and Bart did a fantastic job on the installation of my new NUVOH2O system. Both were very knowledgeable and provided me with a great quote prior to me hiring them.
