Simple Water Heater & Filtration

My master shower suddenly stopped outputting hot water and I suspected it was a problem with the tankless water heater. I called the manufacturer and performed some regular routine servicing myself as they recommended, but the problem did not go away. I found Pipe Doctors through the manufacturer's web site as a recommended servicer who is familiar with their product line. I called to book an appointment and spoke to Azzi, the owner. He had just gotten in the car on the way to another appointment, and spent the entire drive (nearly 40 minutes!) talking to me about potential causes and solutions. He admitted that he loves talking about this stuff, and it's clear that he is an absolute expert in his trade.

I tried several of the potential fixes that he recommended that were within my skill and comfort level, but unfortunately they didn't fix the problem. Due to previous customer commitments and a long-planned vacation, he wasn't able to schedule me for about 3 weeks (I'm sure this is not the norm). Because of the time he spent with me on the phone and his demonstrated knowledge and passion I decided to book the appointment rather than finding another company who could come out faster.

Azzi came to the house himself, arrived promptly at the scheduled time, and did an inspection of the water heater, the shower, and other fixtures in the house. He pretty quickly identified the problem: calcium build-up on the shower-head that was restricting the flow too much to send the ""turn on"" signal to the tankless water heater. Sure enough, a quick cleaning and I have hot water again - all for the cheap price of a 30-minute consultation and a $3 bottle of vinegar.

Other plumbers might have starting tearing apart the walls and plumbing or upselling services that would ultimately be unnecessary and ineffective. Pipe Doctors got right to the heart of the problem, recommended some things to consider for the future, and pointed out a couple of workmanship issues from a previous remodel to keep an eye on. If I have any plumbing issues in the future, Pipe Doctors will be my only call.

Experienced and knowledgeable plumber. Azzi took his time to figure out and improve hot water flow to shower that is furthest from our tankless heater in the garage. He crawled under the house to inspect the water lines. Then he called manufacturer's tech support in my presence and they brainstormed problem and corrected it. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy, punctual company, with unbelievable customer service and very fair prices you can stop now. As a realtor I am extremely picky when it comes to finding contractors for my clients. When a plumber I had used for years left the business I put way too much research into finding a replacement. Everyone I spoke with at Pipe Doctors, not only new a lot about plumbing, but was also great at explaining. Nobody there was pushy at all, which is definitely not the case with lots of contractors. These guys just know their stuff, explain it well, and let you know multiple options. My client was changing from a tank to a tankless water heater. I ended up with five different quotes. As far as pricing goes, Pipe Doctors was not the absolute cheapest but they were at the very low end of the spectrum. The highest quote for the same job was more than double their price (and included scare tactics). With regard to customer service Pipe Doctors is at the very top of the spectrum. Thanks so much!

Technician Azzi Silkov was professional, punctual, and informative as well. He gave us recommendations and tips on how to prevent this issue from occurring again. Overall great experience 5 stars!!

Called a few reputable plumbing companies to get quotes to replace leaking hot water heater. Chose to work with the Pipe Doctors because Eric was friendly and straightforward on the phone with pricing and not ""upselling"" extras that push up the final cost. After checking with me first, Azzi (the company owner) arrived even earlier than scheduled. He was friendly, respectful, efficient, tidy and very knowledgeable about the advantages between traditional tank versus tankless heaters. He even offered me a product upgrade at no cost which happened to save time on the installation. He also didn't pull the typical on-site ""suggestion"" that I needed any ""surprise"" changes or upgrades in my plumbing while he was there.
I was very happy with Pipe Doctors' communication, pricing, work ethic & integrity. Highly recommended.

I have been using Pipe Doctors Plumbing for about a year. They are the best plumbers I have ever dealt with! They get me in right away when I want to schedule an appointment. They always send me a quote with an explanation of the work they will most likely be doing to diagnose and correct the problem. Afterwards they always give a thorough explanation of the issue and how they corrected it. They are friendly, yet very professional. I see no reason to ever go to another plumber again!!!

Azzi was really helpful in talking through our water heater choices as we debated tankless vs. traditional tank. He's willing to talk through the details, not trying to sell you the largest ticket item, but making sure it's the right solution for you. He was prompt, very tidy, and provided excellent craftsmanship on an additional custom project we requested (outdoor dog wash). I would highly recommend him, and we'll be using him in the future for any plumbing needs. He even took the time to reach out to us a week or two after our initial repair, to mention something he encountered with another client, that he thought we'd be interested in knowing. Our tankless hot water heater broke the day before Christmas! Azzi at Pipe Doctors Was responsive, helpful and professional. It was raining all week making it very difficult to do the work so he came late during a break in the storm and worked through the night until two in the morning to get the job done and restore our hot water. Then he came back to fix another small issue the following day without charging extra. We appreciated how he explained everything he was doing and kept us feeling informed. He will definitely be our go to plumber for anything we need in the future. Highly recommended.
