Joel with Simpex came out to give us an estimate for installation of a new kitchen sink we had purchased at Costco. We had a minor leak under the sink so we figured we might as well install the new sink instead of just repairing a leak. The new sink would have one drain, instead of two like our old kitchen sink. Joel explained everything very thoroughly. The pricing was competitive and their overall communication was really great. Joel was punctual and always great about letting us know when they were on their way. We love our new kitchen sink and are so happy that we went with Simpex for this job. Dante was very responsive and got us a quote in short order. The entire repipe was done in a week and ready to paint. They replaced all the shower regulators allowing us to upgrade all 5 batchs. There were no leaks or construction issues, just a LOT of holes and therefore painting to do, but the texturing blended well with our existing walls.

My home suffered a slab leak and we called out Simpex for a quote. Their pricing was very reasonable and included a full repipe with Pex-A and drywall/texture repair. Throughout the initial consultation and discussion everyone at Simpex was extremely helpful and provided answers to all of my questions. They were thorough in their explanation of what the process would look like and provided a detailed timeline of the project. This was extremely helpful since I had to work around my work schedule. Once the project started the repipe crew showed up on time, we're professional, the foreman answered my questions, and the crew spent a lot of time preparing the inside of my home with ample plastic sheeting to protect it from drywall dust. They were very efficient and finished in less than a day which was great. A few days later the drywall/texture team showed up, protected the inside of my home with plastic sheeting, and patched all 29 holes. I was weary of how well the crew could match the existing texture but it came out great and I was very happy with the result. During the project there were a few small issues that came up that needed resolutions, which included a faulty new pressure regulator valve. All of the issues that were brought to their attention were addressed quickly and to my satisfaction. Overall I would highly recommend Simpex for your repipe, they were very professional, great communicators, and provided A+ customer service.

They helped us repipe our current home and previous home. Dante helped us quote the job and suggested the laundry box which looks so much nicer than before. Brandon's crew is amazingly quick and thoughtful and even helped us fixing a few leaks under sink afterwards. Great quality, super quick - for our house it's one day repipe and one day patch, very reasonable pricing, and great communication. And Special thanks for the patching crew (Luis family), the grandpa was so detail-oriented that he made our side yard even cleaner than before the job, washed our driveway to wash off mud and concrete mix, and the Luis' grandpa guided the two young crews ensured the stucco pattern matches exactly with our surrounding stucco wall pattern, it's really art work. They cleaned up our house floor after the job, and afterwards they would take off their shoes at the entrance before stepping in our home. I can't say thank-you enough to Luis' abuelo!! So thoughtful, thank you so much!

They are good (average good) but definitely not 5 stars. For the price they charge for a 2-day work, I expect them to have a supervisor to check the work and ensure everything is perfect.

**Bad Things:**

The salesperson didn't disclose that the shower riser was not included in the quote as they rushed to beat a competitor's quote. Additionally, the $300 shower head they suggested wasn't a good fit for my setup. Their repipe work and patching require supervision. They lack a project manager or supervisor to check the plumber or patch crew's work after completion. As a busy person, I had to personally inspect the work, find gaps they missed, email the owner, Joseph, and negotiate what had been missed and how they should compensate. The project was supposed to finish in 3 days, but due to these misses and some back-and-forth, it took almost 5 days.

**Good Things:**

They have a hardworking crew who are punctual and listen to requests. Joseph tried his best to compensate for the misses, but for someone like me, time is precious, and compensating for the two extra days would be worth much more than the small discounts Joseph provided.

**Tips:**

1. Ensure you ask the sales rep if changing the shower riser is part of the deal.
2. Avoid buying the cheap shower head and valve they try to upsell for $300.
3. Make sure they empty old pipes of water with a vacuum machine and properly close the old pipes.
4. Ask if they can provide a project manager to supervise their team so you don't need to spend time finding gaps.
5. Check every single hole they open to ensure it's patched properly; I found one or two small holes that were missed or not patched properly.
6. Ask to include the county permit in the quote.
7. Book your painter in advance so the painter can start work right after they finish (it takes 2-3 days for the drywall to complete the drying process).

After getting a competitor's estimate of $600 to repair an under sink water shutoff valve, I contacted Simpex Plumbing for an estimate. I sent a photo of the valve to replace and received a rough estimate and an appointment the following day. Joel and his apprentice arrived on time, reviewed the required work, and confirmed the original estimate. They completed the work and did a great job. These guys are my new plumbers because they saved me a lot of money by providing me with a fair price to do the work.

I had been having an issue with high water pressure coming and going, in excess of 90-100 psi when it would occur, and it eventually became consistent over a weekend which necessitated needing to get a water pressure regulator added onto the main line.

I called Simpex and spoke with Phu, who was able to help get me a same day appointment with Jaime to install one. Jaime showed up within an hour and was able to install a regulator where there previously was not one, as well as replacing the pipe going to the hose bib that comes right off the main line. He was very knowledgeable, and more than willing to answer the questions I had about the installation process and operation of the regulator.

Overall, the process was quick and easy, and at about half the cost of a previous quote I had gotten from another company. Very happy with my choice, thank you Phu and Jaime!
