James was great! He showed up in a mask, and was very honest with us about the steps he would take to find and fix our problem, which was a leak under our master bathroom sink. First, he cut into the wall under the sink, but then when he discovered the leak was lower, he had to cut through the stucco on the outside of the house. This was less expensive than having him run a scan of all the pipes to try to find the issue. He fixed the whole thing and cleaned up before the sun went down. We were very happy with the quality and efficiency of his work!

We have lived in this house for almost 33 years. Our gas never worked from the time we moved in.Over the years we had people come in to try and figure out what was wrong. All suggested we'd have to open a wall at least. This company spent more time listening for gas and checking the pipe. It turns out it was corroded and needed to be replaced, but it was not a complicated repair, not very expensive.,I am so grateful and thrilled that our fireplace is finally working! I usually don't write review, but had to make an exception for James Athens for Such professional and honest service I have received.

It was dreadful to find a leaking wet floor, and I started with another leak detector service. The result from that inspection was a potential drain leak, and I would need a camera scan. I called around for drain repair and came across Simpex.

James arrived and re-inspected the leak. To be honest, I was rolling my eyes internally because I thought it's just redundant. Glad that James was persistent and his years of experience led to the root cause at my fridge. James could go around the root cause and charge me with a large bill, but he did not do that. He inspected every corners around the leak until it led to the root cause.

James safe my day and my bank account too! Thank you so much for your expertise, your professionalism, and especially your honesty. I will sure recommend your business to my friends and families.

I chose Simpex because of their rating and they did not charge to come look at the problem. Other companies wanted to charge up to $150 just to come out and evaluate the issue. James A. showed up and was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He was fully geared up for COVID safety which was appreciated during these times. James evaluated the issue I was having with my bathroom sinks, provided a fair price for repairs and completed the work on the spot. Not much more you can ask for and I was very happy with the work. Job well done. I would highly recommend Simpex and will contact them the next time I have a plumbing need.
