I had a few faucet I wanted installed and some addtional work under the sink. The usual plummers that i call were not available so I had seen their trucks in my area and gave them a call. They answered immediately and they had a technician that lived up the street from me available the next day. Hank was great showed up right on time and did the work fast and easy.

Our water heater gave out after 11 years. When I called Chris from SIMM's Plumbing he responded fast, ordering my new heater after quickly reviewing a pic of the old heater and info sticker that I texted him. From that pic he determined the best replacement, and the accessories needed to bring it up to code, without having to do an initial service call inspection that may have delayed installation. Chris arrived prepared, got right to work, circumvented some immovable obstructions, and left the whole area around the heater cleaner than he found it.

If you are in need of a North County plumber, especially if you live at Lake Nacimiento, don't hesitate to reach out to Simms Plumbing.  I promise you won't be disappointed.  Chris and his wife, Ashley, exemplify how to operate a hometown business and take care of their customers.  We moved out to Heritage Ranch in July, and our home was in need of some upgrades, including swapping out our tankless hot water heater.  We had requested a quote from a plumber who had previously done some work for us on another property in Paso, but he couldn't be bothered to come out and look at the unit, just asked me to send photos.  The quote I received was a shock AND he quoted me a five week wait time.  A friend suggested I ask for a recommendation on Next Door and that's how I found Simms Plumbing.  Ashley was lovely, and having someone who is located on the Ranch turned out to be a huge perk, as Chris was able to come by the same day!  He spent time educating me on my options for replacing the water heater.  As the one we had wasn't a great brand, he recommended we install an upgraded brand and model to better meet our needs.  I was expecting another sticker shock but the quote for installing the better unit was about half of what the other plumber had quoted for the lesser model.  The biggest benefit was no wait time!  His crew came out the next day and did the install.  They were fast, professional, and the results were fantastic.  Thank you, Simms Plumbing!

Chris and his crew just completed a full plumbing and fixture install for brand new bathroom in our guesthouse. My wife and I could not be happier with our Simms experience. Chris was the first to respond to my original yelp request for the job and provided an estimate significantly lower than several other local plumbing outfits. While some shady operators may try to pull a bait and switch with a low bid and then hit you with change orders/unanticipated expenses, Chris is not one of those dudes. I would not hesitate to hire Simms plumbing again... and again and again... excellent bang for your buck, honest and straightforward communication, and first class work.
