I called Simmons on a holiday - a person answered right away. We made arrangements for a tech to come out to look at a shower that wasn't draining. Everything went as planned, tech called when on the way and showed up on time.
I wasn't at the home for the work, my daughter was, but the tech called me to report on what he found and how he resolved it.
Bill came and was as quoted for time and labor. Shower is draining normally. I now have a leaking toilet and will be using Simmons for that, too.
Thank, Simmons!

Our sewer backed up on Saturday morning so the landlord called told them we needed this taken care of ASAP due to water being all over! I kept calling them all day as well as the landlord on Saturday, they kept saying that Keith was coming going to call. No call and no one showed up! Sunday still no one! I would not use Simmons for anything. Only person that did amazing was Vince with the hot water heater! Kuddos to you Vince. Sorry you have to work for a company that is getting a bad reputation.

I have used this company for a couple of years and they are far better than anyone else I have dealt with in Lincoln over 15 years of owning around 15 rental properties. They are punctual, generally same day service and charge a reasonable rate. I recommend them to the very highest degree.

I called this morning and they came right out. Had a toilet leaking. fixed it plus another one which we had tried to fix which the handle had broken. Had them look at my water heater it would be hot one time and cold the next. he took a look and explained to me draining it at the age it was he has seen may cause leaks. he turned it up and we are giving it more time for now. I thought he did a great job. he cleaned up as he went. Will use them again.and Ask for Blu.

I had a drain issue that was fixed by another company. But the plumber noticed that my water heater was leaking carbon monoxide. I called Simmons Plumbing and Nick came out right away. He fixed the problem and answered all of my questions. NIck was thorough and I feel the fee charged were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this company!

Simmons Plumbing came out to auger our sewer drain. This happens 1 time every 2 years and we have been doing this for the last 18 years with other companies ! Simmons said they were there 2.5 hours charging $361.00 and the next month it was clogged again. Had to call another company, which took them 1 hour $200 dollars and it's fixed. They are a rip off company and wouldn't even stand by their original job of it not being fixed to fix correctly and still expected to get paid. Don't use this company. Terrible; have to pay twice for the same job and their job was double the price!!! Not qualified and overpriced and what's worse they don't stand by their work!!

I woke up to a cracked water heater that was no longer working. My neighbor recommended them, so I called, they gave me a reasonable quote, and within a few hours they had someone at my house replacing my water heater! They were friendly and pleasant to work with. I will definitely use them again!

We had a sink installed. It was a tricky installation. Now I will say the guy that came out was quite scary looking but he did a great job. Additionally the bill was about 1/2 of what many of the big named plumbers in town would have charged. I will use them again.

We used their services for a backed up drain. They quoted us $150 an hour for labor and we informed them right off the bat that we get 10% off with the homeowners plus discount. The first visit-they were here for about 20 minutes and unclogged the drain. The second one of us showered it immediately flooded again. We called back--they said they could come back in the morning and my husband asked if this visit would cost anything. They said since we didn't fix it the first time, it will be free. They came back again-it took them about two hours that time and turns out it was tree roots, but did fix the problem. We got our bill and were charged for two hours labor and they forgot the discount. My husband called and the lady gave us the discount, but basically said that we weren't charged for the first visit, but rather the second one instead. First off, don't make promises you can't keep and be on the same page with all employees in your company. Second off, it isn't our fault the company chose to do a quick job and didn't fix it right the first time. But then we end up paying more than what was promised. My husband had to stay home from work another day as a result of that. Other than that, no issues with the service men that came to our house. They were friendly.
Update: After using our washer a couple times after their visit, we noticed that water was leaking out the back. After my husband easily put the hoses back on correctly, the problem was resolved. My husband said that they had done something with this to maybe check if the problem was fixed on their visit. Apparently they don't know how to properly put a washer hose back on or forgot to. You'd think If you were in the plumbing industry you'd have that basic concept down.

I first called mark's plumbing to fix a leaking shower that the previous owners had installed incorrectly. While doing some renovations in the basement, I decided to have a new laundry sink installed, with new water supply lines and a new drain line. I called mark's plumbing again, because I had been satisfied with the job they had done the last time with the shower. While the technician was fixing the shower, I asked him for an estimate for installing just the new supply and drain lines. He said it would probably be about 2 hours of labor, and would be about $180-$200. On the Friday that they were to come do the installation at 11 am, they called me at 2 pm to say that they would be there at 2:45. They finally showed up at 3:15 and said that they had to go pick up their truck from getting serviced before they would start. So finally at 3:45 on Friday afternoon they started the project. In the estimate, the technician indicated that they would place a new fitting on some existing copper lines for the washing machine and run new copper to the sink. While at my house, the two plumbers, one of which was a plumbing in training, said that they couldn't install it that way because they didn't have the necessary fittings. So they said they would have to do a longer run of pex material, which I didn't really want, but I didn't want to be charged for an additional service call, so I agreed. At almost exactly 5:00 pm, they finished the job, which ended up looking unprofessional to say the best. The two new shutoff valves that they installed were different sizes, the pvc drain line they replaced for the washing machine was left unsecured to the wall, they had used two different connectors to tie the pex lines to the existing copper, presumably because they didn't have 2 of the same fittings, the adapter for the new drain was left unattached to the pipe they installed, and the project as a whole was left looking very hurried and carelessly done, because of the time constraint on a Friday afternoon. The following Monday I called Mark's and asked them to come out and replace the shutoff valve that was they incorrect size. I figured that if the project indeed stayed close to estimate, I would be happy, and chalk it up to ""getting what you pay for."" When I got the bill, however, I was not happy! Without any explanation of charges, they sent me an invoice for $389! Twice the estimate! And for only an hour and 15 minutes of work! Word to the wise, DO NOT USE MARK'S PLUMBING! They did not provide professional service, did not do what I wanted done, and charged me more than what it would have cost me to use a more reputable plumber.
