My central air unit has a leak. They filled it with gas 6 months ago and right now it's empty again and your technician says it was just low on gas and that he couldn't find any liquid. If it's low on gas, what does that mean? Obviously it has a leak. But they don't fix it and leave it like that, they put gas in it and want to charge again in 6 months. They are tremendous garbage. I do not recommend them to anyone.
This company, Simco was the worst. I went via Choice Home Warranty and was assigned Simco for a plumbing clog/draining issue. The soonest they could come was 48 hours later since reporting my issue. Don arrived with a window of 3-8pm on Saturday 02/25/2023. He arrived, demanding his service fee up front in cash only (I asked for a receipt, which is a generic receipt with no name of the company and Don's initials on it-could be for anything). He took photos, we tried to tell him what happened but was cut off numerous times. He said it looks like a clog (just from looking at the pipes-which are not see through). He said he has to submit it to CHW, which is a 10-minute process supposed to be done then and there. He said he's not doing it now; he will get back to us once he hears approval. We asked how far he's booking out, he said ""No"". He didn't make sense, and we just said are we looking at days/weeks, he just said ""No"". He was only there for an assessment of the job, not the repair job we thought we were getting. I contacted CHW and wrote what happened and funnily enough, I got approval for the job and a Tuesday 02/28/2023 appt. Don and Chris showed up. They were talking rudely to one another, and started in an area we didn't know why but ok. They kept running the snake through the pipe and running water, and finally they just started packing up saying I don't have authorization for this. We asked for what, he just said get a second opinion. We asked for what. He said it's in the pipe and I don't have authorization for that. So, he said ""I will write to CHW and they should tell you what the estimate should be"". We tried asking questions, and we cut off each time. They couldn't get their thoughts together and just wanted to get up and leave. He (Don) talked hostile to us and his assistant Chris. Even Chris said, ""This is why you need a second opinion, because we don't deal with customers and explain things"" That didn't even make sense. Nothing was fixed and don't know what the problem is, nor does Simco. They have the worst customer service I have experienced. They don't know how to diagnose anything. Get a second opinion when you don't even hear the first opinion is crazy. Worse experience in our lives, they don't seem qualified for this type of work. I am also upset with CHW but Simco was the main part of this job.
Don was completely unprofessional and rude! He then made the problems worse and flooded our basement! Run from this company!!
Worst experience of my life. I had just moved into my house when I realized there was clogging in the kitchen sink. They returned three times before they came to the conclusion that it was the main cast iron pipe in the basement that needed to be replaced. Plumber was rude, condescending, and shouted at his assistants constantly. Claimed my disposal was broken after they'd plunged it, but was working fine the next day. I almost had them come out and install a new one! Replaced pipe, fine, but left a mess in my front yard with their digger. Broke a part of my vinyl siding, lawn destroyed, didn't replace dirt. They claimed someone would come out and fix the siding. I had to wait several months before he showed up, and he ended up doing a spotty job, barely matching the paint color correctly. It looks terrible. They also promised they would return to put grass seed or sod on the ruined part of the lawn. When spring came around, I contacted them to ask when they would be doing it, and the pulled back their office. The man who said they would put the sod down for me claimed that I was lied to by someone else. Now my lawn has been a mess since last year, as I was waiting with false hope that it would be taken care of. I will never be using this company again. I wouldn't trust them to unclog my toilet.
