I am extremely upset that this company! They came out to turn the heat on upstairs of my parents house. The heat was at 55 and now the temperature is slowly going down. With the temperature outside at 19 degrees we are facing the risk of pipes bursting. No emergency number. What a disgrace.
Poor customer service. I was called and given an appointment of 1pm. They called me at around noon and said the guy was on his way he was 30-45 min out. So, I take the rest of the day off work to go home, around 2pm still no one has shown up. I call and I'm told ""no your appointment was between 2-4pm."" I cancelled and called another service out.
Then at 3:30pm the service manager calls me to apologize he was trying to squeeze me in, and it didn't work out. when I mentioned that I took off work to wait for someone to show, he is going to tell me ""I don't believe that's true."" That is not the way you treat of talk to a customer. Maybe he wants my boss's number to call and confirm, like it's any of his business. You give someone a time, and then don't show because another job ran over, isn't the decent thing to do call the customer and tell them they are going to be late or re-schedule. They need to learn how to run their business better and how to treat the customer.
We have used Sieb Plumbing for the past 20+ years and have always been very satisfied with the service and the price. Last year when our AC died in the height of the summer, they went as far as to locate a new unit out of state, drove to pick it up and installed it in a day. We have always received prompt, polite and excellent service and will continue to use them for all our plumbing, heating and AC needs.
Had a scheduled appointment for 12-4. They did not show up and I called a little after 4. Too busy and couldn't get there today. No phone call to let me know after taking off time from work for their scheduled time.
Alicia O.Long story short the repairman left one of the waterlines open after beeding the lines and water was leaking for over 24hrs into my basement. No apology from the company itself. Instead they were annoyed we contacted our insurance company because we found the leak after bussiness hours. (We did not know what to do) The company's insurance apologized, and is currently taking care of the situation. This was the first bad experiance I have had with this company, if they would have followed up or even apologized for the inconvience this caused my family I might have contiuned bussiness with them, instead i just recieved the bill....The Comany Contacted me through Facebook I contated the office today 4/25 as advised from the below comment and recieved an adjustment on my bill and was able to express my concerns about the visit and how it all went. The Company is doing what they can to make this right & that is all you can ask for. Thank you Sieb for making this right!
Matthew H.They charged me for 3 1/2 hours labor, the technician was at my house for 2 hours and 5 minutes. Called twice to talk to somebody about it and was told somebody would call me back. Never got a call back.
Can I give them 0 stars?
Nicole E.I had an on demand hot water heater that was originally installed by someone else that wasn't installed correctly and stopped working way too soon (less than six years after installation). I called Sieb and explained my issue on a Thursday. They ordered a new unit for me and set an installation appointment for the following Monday! The area where the unit is located is a small area, the ins and outs of the new unit were on the opposite sides of the old unit so EVERYTHING had to be re-arranged for proper installation. Needless to say this was not an easy, simple replacement job. The gentleman who came to my house to complete the work was so patient, pleasant and kind. He probably came out expecting a replacement that would take 2-4 hours. He was there all day. I felt bad for him, but he had a great attitude about it and just did the work and made sure everything worked right before leaving. I would recommend this company to anyone.
I have attempted to use their service three times but have only used them once. When they come out to do the work, they are professional and satisfactory. However, they advertise 24 hour emergency service but do not answer their phone after business hours. And when I finally did get someone, during business hours mind you, they said they couldn't come out to complete the repair for a week. Another time I had them come out for an estimate to replace my bathtub surround and install fixtures. They took measurements but wouldn't give me a written estimate. I attempted to call them several times but they would not return my calls. I ended up going with another service. Customer friendly I would say they are not!
Had an appointment scheduled for 2:00pm. They told me that their plumbers were running behind and they'd have to charge me overtime, which essentially doubled the price.
Give me a break. If I call for after hour services, that justifies overtime. If your workers are running behind, that's on you. Don't try to pass the buck scumbags. Tried to reschedule me for 2:00pm the next day under the same pretenses. Ridiculous.
We got a written estimate from the owner for complete installation of shower and all materials needed. We found out this does not include drywall after they started the job even though they have a carpenter on staff. So we had to install drywall before they could do this particular shower, fine. When they installed shower pan, they put mortar around the drain only, leaving the rest of the shower pan with no support. Because our floor is not level the pan was at least an inch off the floor with nothing under it, except around the drain. I am not a professional, but we are going to be stepping on this every day, does not seem like a good idea. My husband asked two different workers on two different occasions and they said no it is fine like this. We googled it, everything we found said you need to support entire base to prevent cracking. That makes sense. So after my husband insisted, it was done but we had to supply mortar and tools to do it. Also they over cut when installing the base, leaving gaps in the newly installed drywall we now have to repair. When the job was done, we noticed stickers on the glass panels from manufacturer saying caution do not caulk inside, only outside. They did the oppisite. We looked at instructions that came with the shower, and it had pictures with arrows pointing to where to caulk and warnings again not to caulk inside or leaking would result. Now we heve to remove their caulk and redo it ourselves. If we had wanted to do all this work we would not have hired so called professionals to install our shower. I also gave the owner a picture of the exact shower head I wanted with model number. He said no problem. Installers did not know anything about it. So, now we have to intall the shower head too. Of course, they did offer any discount, but sent bill for full price. I do not recommend Sieb
