I called first thing in the morning and got an appointment at 11:00 am. Sid showed up a few minutes early and went to work. I had a partially clogged sewer pipe. He cleaned the pipe out through a clean out installed previously and checked to make sure that all the drains and the toilet worked once he was done. He got the job done and charged a reasonable price. Great job!

It's Fourth of July. We have a party staring in 90 minutes, sewer is backing up in the middle of my backyard. Sid is on his way, even though he was headed to a family party.

This man is the real deal!

I dislike leaving negative reviews, but perhaps knowing this will help someone. In January I had a clogged tub drain and both bathroom sinks were not draining properly. I frequently fix this stuff myself, but my health has been bad and I just didn't have the energy. I actually called a plumber I really like, but he was booked and suggested Sid. On his recommendation, I decided to give Sid a try and ran into the same things other reviewers are reporting.

Sid had come from another job where he had been climbing under a house and his shoes were caked in mud and his clothes were pretty muddy too. He brought a bucket in with some tools and it was caked in mud. He also had a lantern like light that was covered in mud. I didn't think to move all of my fluffy new bathroom rugs (2 in one bathroom and 3 in the other). They all had mud on them by the time he was done. One actually had bits of mud I scooped off and a perfect circle from the bucket. He also stepped into the tub and left a heavy boot print of mud behind. I don't have new carpets, but still had to spot clean a few partial mud tracks in the hallway. I normally don't need to wash all of those bath rugs at once and I knew my washing machine wasn't up to doing them all. I took them to have them washed at a fluff-n-fold and that added a cost I hadn't expected.

So, I had noticed he was pretty rough when he was working on the drains. I didn't put any of my under sink items back until the next day. That was when I realized my master bath sink was leaking. I never got a clear picture of what broke, but Sid did come back out. He did say it was something he did and fixed it at no extra charge. I was happy there was no charge because I had already paid him more than I expected for the initial job. However, the stopper you pull up to fill the sink now moves up and down at a weird angle. The stopper almost doesn't open up enough to let water drain out, but I decided to live with it till I can afford to have someone else fix it. The sink also smelled like plumbers putty till just recently (about 3 months after the work). I checked under the sink and I don't see it there so it must be in the drain. He left all the garbage in my bathroom waste basket with bunches of wet plumbers putty. I also found that something had gotten dumped into the trash, by mistake I hope, but it was not salvageable.

Sid is a nice man to talk with and stands behind his work, but if he is coming into your home or working around things you feel are important, you will want to take precautions. I unfortunately would not recommend him.

If there were more stars I would give this company more stars.
I had a main line clog in my home and we called a number that said 24 hour plumbers. I called an answering service and I got a call from Sid. He arrived at my home at approximately 10 pm and got to work. Within two hours he had my main cleaned and my house was back in working order.
I would highly recommend Sid to anyone that would ask me who to use. Sid is not your typical plumber he arrived in a clean vehicle not all beat up and he was professional and clean cut even that late in the evening.
Thank you Sid
So last night I called Sid again because I had another problem. Sid came out again and patiently diagnosed the other dilemma I was having. Sid did his best work again and resolved the situation ver quickly. I am a true believer in this mans knowledge of his trade and skills. I have no doubt that I will call Sid again for any needs that arise with my plumbing

Sid was recommended by another plumber when my clean-out to the sewer became clogged and was leaking into my yard. Sid was promptly and professional. My clean-out was broken and close 70+ years old. He unclogged the line and replaced the clean-out with a clean and safe to use connection; and help to come up with a game plan for maintaining my older home. All for a fair price upfront!

I highly suggest giving him a call!

Yikes!!! Sunday and out of the blue I learned I had a plumbing problem that meant no working toilets or showers. I called a Yelp plumber who was unavailable but highly recommended Sid. I called him and I could tell he was adjusting families plans to help me. Shortly after he came over, identified the problem, and solved it in no time at all. He was warm and professional and just plain nice. Price was very fair and I highly recommend using his service! Thanks Sid.

Sid is a total disaster! Do not hire him for any work in your home! He might do a fine plumbing job, I don't really know, but he'll destroy everything in his path like a tornado. He busted several pickets in the fence, cut a bush in half leaving it dangling by just a few roots (rather than removing it completely or working around it), installed a new clean out in the middle of the lawn that is about 6 inches above the ground (ugly and dangerous), but the worst thing he did was cut through the underground electrical pipes carrying electricity to our pool with a skill saw! And he just buried the pipe like nothing happened! There had to have been a spark and he would have heard the pop of the breaker, but he said NOTHING to us!!! The pool guy told us there was no electricity to the pool. He copped to cutting the pipe after the pool guy Told us and said he would send someone skilled to take care of it. After days of dodging us, we called our handyman/electrician to assess the damage. Sid agreed to pay the $1200 estimate, but ultimately showed up screaming and yelling about how mad he was that he had to pay for this and that he lost money on this job, offered $1000 and refused to pay the rest. He was horribly abusive and scary (the dude is seriously unhinged). Save yourself the trouble and a trip to small claims court by hiring anyone but this guy.

Sid is a likable guy and he works hard. Unfortunately he believes he does excellent work. Our contractor son had to drive hours to come and fix many things that Sid was paid to do. Besides breaking my lamp and burning out my husbands drill, he cut the hot water line to my washing machine. We had to lower the ceiling in the bathroom to accommodate the hoses that were supposed to go through the 2x4's.

While Sid seems to know plumbing very well, is friendly and softspoken, the problem is, he doesn't seem capable of cleaning up after his work or come prepared to contain the messes he causes. After draining our toilet tank with his shop vac, he simply picked up the vac and walked out of the bathroom with it, oblivious to the fact the hose was draining large puddles of dirty, rusted water all over the bathroom floor! After he took a couple of steps into the hallway, I stopped him and told him to go back. Only then did he look down and notice the leaking hose. I didn't believe how much water there was and he didn't trouble himself to bend down and wipe any of it!

I explained to him that the carpet in the hallway and the rest of the house was new and I was trying very hard to keep it clean. He didn't seem to grasp that. We even had runners going down the length of the hallway to walk on, but his feet stepped all over the place.

Then he went on to fix the faucet in the bathtub. Any plumber who knows he's going to put his foot in the tub and turn on the water should bring shop towels with him (or keep his foot out of the water). Any plumber knowing he's going to use Dap with his fingers needs to bring towels to wipe his hands. But not Sid. When he was done with the Dap, he reached for the first thing he could see to wipe his hands on - my brand-new folded shower curtain hung over the back rack. My husband stopped him or it would have been covered in Dap.

When he got up out of the tub, instead of wiping his now wet and very dirty shoe, he just walked out and promptly stepped on my new carpet, leaving an ugly footprint of his giant shoe on it, not to speak of leaving dirty footprints on the bathroom floor. Again I stopped him and brought him a towel to wipe his shoes on.

I was hoping the carpet wouldn't be that bad after it dried, but his dirty footprints are darker now than they were wet. Every time I look at it, I feel like crying. It puts me between a rock and a hard place. I'm not sure what I'm going to have to do to get it cleaned. I have a lot of chronic health problems and its very difficult for me to get down on the floor to clean it. I'm also allergic to the chemicals they put in carpet cleaner, but it looks like I'll have to call a professional carpet cleaner in.

Sid wasn't cheap either. My husband and I live on a very limited income. Not only did he charge a lot for the little plumbing he ended up doing, but now I'll have to pay for carpet cleaning on top of that.
