I hired Sica Services And Repair to remodel a guest bathroom in my house, mainly because we live in the same housing development. Looking back, that was a bad decision. During the project, Vincent consistently arrived late, and on some days, he didn't show up at all, offering flimsy excuses. He lacked punctuality, reliability, and professionalism throughout our engagement. There was even an incident where he called me a derogatory term during an argument. I'm very particular about details, and I paid a significant amount for these renovations, expecting a certain level of professionalism and craftsmanship. Vincent (Sica Services And Repair) failed to meet these basic expectations. Whenever I pointed out issues or requested fixes, he became defensive and accused me of being overly critical. He essentially rushed through the project and seemed surprised when I expressed dissatisfaction. For instance, the sink had a noticeable scratch/dent due to a manufacturing defect. When I asked Vincent to replace it (before it was installed), he gave me a hard time, claiming he had to pay out of pocket for the exchange. Additionally, the sink's stopper malfunctioned repeatedly, requiring multiple replacements because it couldn't hold water in the sink. Moreover, there was a persistent issue where water would leak into the vanity below whenever the faucet was running, indicating a problem with the pipes that Vincent struggled to identify and rectify despite several attempts, claiming he doesn't know what is causing the issue. Each time I asked him to return and fix something, he acted as if it were a burden, providing vague responses like """"I don't know"""" regarding the root cause of the issues. I noticed a critical flaw in the shower floor - it was not leveled correctly. This led to a persistent issue where a puddle of water would form every time the shower ran, and it wouldn't drain on its own. It's a fundamental aspect of bathroom renovation that should have been done right the first time, further underscoring Vincent's/his subcontracts' incompetence and lack of attention to detail. The problems escalated about 10 months post-renovation. The shower grout began chipping, forming actual holes in the wall and darkening, despite being originally light grey. Despite my efforts, nothing I tried got the original color back. Finally, I got a different company to come in and assess the damage. They were able to determine that the grout was never sealed that is why it was chipping and turning darker color. When I finally got Vincent to revisit, it took him nearly two months to show up, showing a clear lack of concern for his past customers. When I relayed the information to Vincent about the grout not being sealed, he sent his subcontractors to try to rectify the problems. However, their attempt at regrouting the bathroom resulted in an unsightly mess. The grout had different colors in various spots, highlighting their incompetence. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to Vincent, he returned to handle the situation himself. However, his demeanor suggested that he was doing me a favor, and he made excuses for his subcontractors' botched work. During his attempt to regrout the bathroom, Vincent expressed uncertainty about whether he should seal it, fearing it might affect the color. He mentioned needing a professional opinion on how to proceed, further showcasing his lack of expertise and confidence in his work. At this juncture, frustrated with his unprofessionalism and subpar results, I decided to hire a different company to regrout the bathroom properly. Despite my requests, he refused to cover the cost of fixing his subcontractors' mistakes. This lack of accountability and professionalism prompted me to escalate the matter through the Better Business Bureau. Overall, I strongly advise against hiring Sica Services And Repair company for any renovation project, as Vincent's unprofessionalism and incompetence overshadow any potential benefits, unless your needs are as basic as changing a lightbulb.

Vincent did a great job installing three bi-fold doors and a metal curtain rod from the concrete ceiling. His prices are reasonable and the man has an unparalleled work ethic. Mr. Sica takes pride in his work and it shows. The doors looked fine to me but he pointed out that the top rail was wobbly. He spent an extra hour to ensure they were installed correctly. He communicates effectively and quickly. I am definitely keeping his phone number and plan to use him again for more work around my house. Great service at good prices.

I can't thank Vincent enough. He has already done two repairs to my apartment. If possible, I would give him 10 stars. He takes pride in his work, and I already blasted his business card to all my family and friends. He is honest in what he can and cannot do. He worked on my AC and my kitchen sink which as you know are essential to everyday living. I have so many other projects for him, but I do have to share him with others. Thank you Vincent
