I believe that they are price gouging. Had a small project and received an estimate that was way too high and clearly not representative of the work needed to be performed. Nearly a $100/LF for 23 LF of plastic 1" gas line. Absolutely now way I would use or recommend this company.

I have used Show Plumbing twice now in my home, and they would be hard to top.
They show up exactly when they say they will be there, their staff is super clean and courteous, they provide written estimates, and the repairs performed are quick and first rate.
Honestly, I wouldn't think of calling anyone else.

It feels like Show Plumbing price gouged me in the aftermath of the big freeze. We live in a small townhome development where all the townhomes have the same type of water heating - tankless water heaters. The day after city water service was restored, my water heater started leaking badly. That day I contacted several plumbers and quickly realized it was almost impossible to find a tankless water heater and a plumber for at least a week if not longer. A couple of the plumbers who had previously worked in our neighborhood gave me a cost estimate of $2800-$3000 for the job. I was able to get a cost for the heater unit on-line - it was sold for $1500-$1700. That day I saw a Show Plumbing truck in our development and called the number. They said that they had a unit with them and could replace ours that afternoon. The tech looked at the job, then went outside to call his boss for a price. When the tech came back in, the first thing he did was to be VERY clear that the price was non negotiable. The price was $5295. So I had to decide whether it was worth paying that much verses not having hot water for 1-2 weeks. Not having hot water would of course mean no showers for our kids or us, no washing clothes and no dish washing. Under those circumstances I chose to pay the high cost, thinking that maybe the previous cost estimates were not good estimates. Since that day I've found out that several of my neighbors had the same unit installed in the same way as I did. The costs ranged from $2800 to $3200, with ARS charging the most at $3200. I've talked to the Show Plumbing rep twice since I found out the cost of the other units and he says that I'm welcome to get the invoices from the other jobs and provide them to him, but he was clear that nothing would change. Hard to believe a company would take advantage of a disaster situation to gouge people like that.

I will never use Show Plumbing again.
Five reasons why not:
1- I called Show Plumbing originally to replace four perfectly good faucets with new updated faucets in a different trim/finish. They charged me $1500. I now know that that was a lot when none of them had any issues - just a swap.
2- They did not complete the final faucet the same day they were out. The main plumber told me that I had gotten two left pieces in my box and I needed to go exchange it. I did. Show came back out the next day and as it turns out, he had the directions wrong and the original box was actually just fine. This cost me two trips back to the store (to buy a second one and then return it), as well as second day of waiting for them to show back up to complete the job.
3 - They packed up my returnable faucet in their truck and took it with them. I had to track them down from their central office to get them to come back out with my faucet to return. This took days for them to find and, again, coordinating a time to meet with them. Did I say again? Because I meant.... again.
4- The same day they were out originally, I told them I didn't care for the existing stainless steel valve and shower head finish in my shower and asked how much it would be to change. He told me they would have to "come in from the back side of the wall and replace everything" so the quote was $960.
I opted not to do that.
I later found out from a friend of mine that I could simply buy that same makers trim in the finish I wanted and change it. For less than $100 and 10 minutes of my own time installing, my entire shower is updated. The companies I choose to work with offer tips like this to earn my trust and thereby the business I cannot simply do myself - and also my reference.
5 Two days after I had my faucets installed my kitchen sink had water underneath it. It seemed clear to me it was due to the new faucet. I called Show and asked them to come back out. I was not there when the arrived so my son let them in. They called to tell me my "kitchen sink had corroded" and they wanted $850-$1000 to fix it. I asked them to show my son exactly what they were seeing. They charged me $35 service fee for coming back out when "it was not related".
First, why wouldn't they have mentioned the corrosion when they were under that same exact sink just two days before?
Second, when I got home, my son showed me what they were talking about and it was only the seal between the granite and the sink - not corrosion on a stainless steel sink (go figure). For a trip to Home Depot and $5 worth of silicone, I repaired it completely. Problem solved.
I won't be using Show Plumbing again.

Called at 6pm on a Tuesday and had Willie at my house at 8am the next morning. He took time to explain processes and prices to me and was very professional. Wild absolutely recommend and use again.

I was charged $225 to install a wax ring (valued @$4) and due to incorrect verbiage between technician and my husband, coupon was not allowed to be applied. I feel like I was taken advantage of, will not be purchasing my water filtration from this company.

I'd give these con artists -stars if it was possible. So let's start. I call them for a quote to connect a gas dryer to an existing line for my girlfriend while I out of town. They say they need to come out to quote. $35 but if we have them do the job then the price of the quote is deducted from the work. She takes the time off of work but they never show or call for the appointment. So I call, the tech is stuck on a job and can't make it. No problem, it happens. Then the guy comes out Monday, barely make the appointment window and not only has the nerve to provide almost a $600 quote to connect two hoses that cost less than $30 combined and when she obviously says no still charges her the $35 consult even though they missed the original appointment. Long story not so short these guys are either going to refund that fee and get reported to the BBB or there going to get hit with a chargeback from the bank and reported to the BBB. Either way they are not getting my money. Please make sure to use anyone but these scam artists. Seems to me they just come out, quite something ridiculous and take your consult money if you're smart enough to say no.

Had some major issues on a rental property . Called on several plumbers in the HTX area. ARS tried to up-sell. Others claim 'Free' quote and provided none, only $500+ in diagnostic charges and more possibilities of problems. When Jason came out, he indicated that he would need to attempt to clean the drain and run a camera for a full diagnosis. He was upfront about this cost. Because of his methodical approach, no doubt in my mind that this company was the one to fix my problems. A fair price was given for the repair. I authorized the job and the repair was completed in 3/4 days ( City had to be involved). My tenant did most of the communication with Show Plumbing- he called me to rave about their service skills, so it was only appropriate that i leave a review..... Did i mention a 10 yr warranty on the piece that they worked on?!?!... Good Honest people they are.

Excellent plumbing service! Showed up on time, did what was necessary, was courteous and conscientious. I recommend them!

Called Thursday and Jason was out Friday morning. Diagnosed and fixed same day. Gave me all info up front with pricing and different options. Great pricing great customer service and cleaned up completely after work was done. Can't say enough great things.
