I am closing on my home, needed to get my water heater fixed on a tight schedule and had 2 previous plumbers unwilling to do the job before I came across John Shiver. He was very knowledgeable and positive to speak with during what could be a stressful process. He walked me through what needed to be worked on and went above and beyond to get the job done. He's very communicative which is highly appreciated for someone who is unfamiliar with plumbing verbiage.

I would recommend him to anyone needing any work done!

A resident at the community I work hired a man from her church that works for this company. He came and looked at her plumbing in bathroom. I asked him to go under home and he got angry because I wanted a picture to verify the issue. He misdiagnosed the issue. He also charged the client twice.

John Shiver and Shiver Plumbing are amazing! He has been to our home on three separate occasions for various plumbing needs. Our home was built spec in 2005 and the builder is no longer around. Although most of the house is in great shape some shortcuts were taken with the initial mechanicals (not the highest quality components were used). We have had to do numerous upgrades to the existing systems. John has been courteous, professional, on time, on budget and a joy to work with. If you need your plumbing systems evaluated with fair and honest estimate, give John Shiver a call. We are getting two new dishwashers sometime in Oct of '18 because the ones which came with the house are both failing. Keep some time available for us John! Thanks

I cannot say enough good things about John Shiver and Shiver Plumbing. I was awakened this morning by the sound of rushing water under my house. I was able to get the water turned off myself and started calling for help. The last company I used was not able to send anyone today. The 2nd company I called, for whatever reason didn't even return my call. I searched here on YELP and found Shiver Plumbing. Not only was he able to come today he arrived at the time he said he would, actually a little earlier. He assessed the problem quickly and gave me a reasonable quote and then charged a little less. I will DEFINITELY call John if/when I need help again.

John came out the first time promptly so it seems stated our builders incorrectly did everything yet seems he only put a bandaid on the problem at hand, within not even a week same thing leaking again, to make a long story short he never fixed anything it's still leaking after his 3 attempts. I called and stated it's been 3 times I think we are going to go with someone else get another opinion etc but due to the fact we are still in the same boat can we get some sort of refund cuz u didn't do ur job? It was as though I lit a fire in his butt cuz our came attitude completely unprofessional and not taking any ownership whatsoever and playing the blame game, making excuses and justifying everything trying to tell me he can come do this and that but why would I let this man back into my house after yelling at me and treating me this way on top of 3 failed attempts ??!!! He even hung up on me then not long later had his wife call to finally cave and say she'll send us some money back! I've never dealt with someone more rude and unprofessional ever I don't see how he has a business if he thinks it's okay to treat his clients that way. Do not use him it's a waste of ur time and money!!!

Shiver plumbing was prompt to respond to my email and answered any questions I had. My quote for the tankless water heater was very reasonable. They were prompt on coming out to do the job. Overall, I had no issues or complaints with the job.
