My backed up toilet work order for American Home Shield was sent to Shields Plumbing. This is not the first time American Home Shield has sent to work order for me to Shields Plumbing. Every time they come out they say they need to get on the roof and they'll be back. They never come back they never answer the phone and they never return calls. Now they have told American Home Shield that I have a leak under my slab which is completely untrue as confirmed by another plumbing company. They won't do the work but they'll take the money and never call.

The main office called the day before they came out for a service call to confirm the plumbing issues, I was having ie. leaking toilet, faucet. The following day the very unprofessional service tech called to confirm I was home and what services where needed. During the visit the tech was very condescending and refused to make the repairs. He said those repairs where not on the list. During the visit I felt very uncomfortable he was very rude. He left my house after making some very unappreciated comments. He then billed me for a service call after not making any repairs for the five minutes he was there. I had a previous experience where a different tech came out to fix a leaking faucet tighten the bolt and charged me. It was leaking a few hours after he left. I made attempt to call the main office to get a solution and they refused to return my call or except them. These people are all about collecting the service call but not make the repairs or put in effort, it's all about the money. They are incompetent as well as rude. If you like drama, poor service, unethical practices, I recommend them.
If you like professional service that's guaranteed, and guys are friendly Andy's or Solid Plumbing are great. Their work was DONE right the first time.

Overpriced and unfriendly. Failed to provide itemized list of parts and labor. They caused a leak that caused significantly more damage to the home than the original leak. They also cut into an electrical wire and said nothing about it. Will NEVER use again.

I never commented on Shields as I should have when required work wAs completed. When service and professional attitude is important, and it is, I only call Shields. The know how is unquestionable.

I highly recommend Shields Plumbing. THe plumber quickly found the gas leak that was in my attic. I had another plumbing company here the day before and they said I needed all new gas lines at a cost of $4100. They had not gone up in the attic. The plumber was very nice and knows his job well.

I have had bad customer service with this company. I have tried contacting this business for 2 days due to my garbage disposal backing up. They came out and ""fixed"" it two weeks ago and as soon as the man left it stopped working. I now have to wait 2 more days until their plumber can come ""look"" at it. After 2 days, 9 phone calls, and 2 voicemails I finally got that day/time scheduled. This is ridiculous service and I don't recommend them to anyone.

I recently bought a home not knowing what I was getting myself into. It's had quite a few sewage problems, drainage, clogged sinks, back up or leaky toilets. Basically everything dealing with sewer it has had some type of issue. These guys have always been prompt, honest, and professional. They fixed my issues in no time at all.
