I wanted to thank Sherman Smith very much for taking care of the HVAC repair during the peak heatwave and for providing temporary cooling units to cut the edge off the extreme heat. They saved us over the weekend. I doubt we could have made it through the weekend without the units.

We have used this company several times over the past 2 months for various plumbing jobs. They have always showed up on-time or early and completed the job professionally and accurately. Their prices are very competitive for plumbing jobs. It is very important that you have a plumber that you can trust. We had semi-emergency plumbing job to fix a valve and pipes on the water intake valve to our entire house. We found this out only 1 day prior to our master bathroom home renovation. I called them up the day before and they had someone out the next morning. I would highly recommend this local business to anyone.

These guys are life savers. I'm particularly impressed with a young guy on their staff. He's been to our home twice. He's excellent, honest and quick.

My most recent experience: I had an AC issue. I called American home shield. They sent a repairman from a local shop that tried to tell me my AC was out of coolant and had a leak. Said repair would take 2 weeks and cost $3k!!! I have a baby so I couldn't be without AC for 2 wks. Something smelled funny to me so I called Sherman Smith. Their tech repaired two loose wires and topped up my coolant, which cost a total of $250ish. I tipped the guy bc he was fast and honest. America Home shield refunded my copay. I'm now signing up for Sherman Smith's AC and furnace warranty bc I trust them (keeping America home shield for other stuff--but don't trust their repair network).

I referred a friend to Sherman smith and he had a similarly wonderful experience. Try them, you won't be disappointed.

Heroes, plain and simple. When you have an emergency plumbing problem...""who you gonna call?"" I took a chance on local businessman Sherman Smith and am happy to report that his team saved the day! My problem was a clogged drain that home remedy could not fix. Since my home is up for sale, the urgency for a quick response was immediate. I especially appreciate the fact that Sherman took the call after hours; this is the epitome of excellent customer service. Thank you for your professionalism, fair pricing, and speedy assistance. I have used their service a couple times. Once it was for a plumbing job. It was a tad pricey but then I guess all plumbers are. The second time they installed a HVAC for me. They did a good job with the install. Price was in the middle range. Their workers appear skilled and have so far come thru for us. So I will generally recommend them for any plumbing or HVAC work

I had a great experience with these plumbers. They were at my house three times, once for the free estimate, a second time to do the repair which was foiled because I ordered the wrong parts, and a third time to do the full job. They let me order my own parts online and even credited me for an hour they spent trying to fix the leak that wasn't effective. Excellent!

They may come out to your house fast but I would not trust the assessment. Between myself and local friends, we have had numerous occasions where they have come out (fast, yes) and assessed our problem wrong. If you have a big job that needs to be done ... GET A SECOND OPINION ... you will be happy you did!!!
