Christmas weekend, pipes froze in my mobile home. Woke up Christmas Eve morning to no water. Called, they came, spent about hour and half defrosting my pipes. Luckily the pipes did not burst. They charges me almost $1400.00. Yes, I could have declined the service, but I felt like I was in a bind. I really feel like I was taken advantage of. After it was fixed, I called out of curiosity, five other plumbers companies. They would have charged me about half of what these guys charged me. NEVER AGAIN! And I will not recommend at all. BTW, they don't charge an hourly rate like the others.

Bad experience with one plumber from Sherman. Didn't wear shoe coverings so he tracked wet dirt onto my floors. He clearly did not want to be there. The bathroom faucet was not centered, the left handle was loose and a portion of the black gasket is showing.

So buyer beware when it comes to Sherman!

Today we were 1st-time customers. Because it's plumbing, we're hoping not to need the service often, but will not hesitate to call if there is need. The receptionist was very pleasant at before 8 a.m., the service person (a very cordial gentleman) arrived within minutes, and our problem was quickly corrected at a reasonable cost. We're happy with this company.

I was billed $357 for a after hours service call that nothing was repaired and Shermans diagnosis was incorrect.
I asked why wasn't the issue ( something wrong with heat system making an odor of gas,) wasnt fixed, and was told that I called the wrong entity of shermans and that I needed to call the repair department. When I asked who came out, they said it was only to check for leaks. Duh, that's stating the obvious. The ""tech"" said that it was a leaky valve. The next day I had an HVAC tech come out to address the issue. Because there was still an odor in the house, the first thing he said was ""this isn't a raw propane gas odor, it's an exhaust odor"", he checked the exhaust pipe for the furnace which ran under the house in the crawl space and exited out through the foundation under our back porch. He immediately saw the pipe had separated at a coupling and determined that was the source of the burnt propane gas odor. So he reglued the coupling, checked the other connections and all was repaired, no more problems. There were no problems with the gas valve at the furnace as reported by the Sherman's leak testers.
After going back and forth with shermans they adjusted the bill to $200 and wouldn't take any responsibility for their lack of and incorrect service, when I offered $100 they said they would terminate my propane service.

IS THIS A COMPANY THAT YOU WOULD WANT TO BUSINESS WITH? THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES AND PASS THE CHARGES ONTO THEIR CUSTOMERS!

Had a new HVAC system installed and I could not be happier with the results. Not only were the installers polite, but, they were efficient and quick. Ran into a problem with a circuit breaker from the old system that was partially melted. Thankfully, the installers found it and they took a picture to make sure I was informed regarding the problem. The new Honeywell thermostat can be controlled through WiFi, a great plus for anyone with a second home!

I had some pipes freeze up during the recent cold snap. Sherman was the only company I called that could get out to see me the same day. They arrived within about 90 minutes, and had the problem solved quickly. Charged me for an hour, which included travel time. I really didn't have any issues with the work or the charge for the work. I would use them again.
