Never have I experienced such an unprofessional company in all my experience. These guys came out and were supposed to detect a water leak in our kitchen. They spent 30 min and charged 300 dollars to mark every pipe incorrectly. They marked the hot water line as a cold water line and where they said the leak was completely incorrect. After tearing up the floors and breaking the foundation the plumber found that the leak was in a different area that they didn't even mark as having a pipe in. they had to tear up a different part of the floor and break more of the foundation to access the pipe. Not only did Sherlock leak detectors not detect the leak properly. When I called the owner to explain what happened and understandably get my money back since they failed completely. He was condescending and said that it's not their fault they couldn't find the pipe, that they were close enough in discovering it and didn't even care that his company messed up a job and cost us thousands extra because we had to re-dig. I will be bringing this company up with the better business bureaus day my attorney. I highly recommended everybody stay away from this company. It's sad to see that a company that supposedly has good reviews won't stand behind their job and correct their mistakes.

Update: After the owners response, allow me to clarify some things so that I am perfectly clear. We had to expand the hole which required removing more of the hardwood floors and removing more of the concrete slab. Of the area highlighted by the leak detector ""expert"" (which he claimed is within the margin of error. I do not even have a picture of the first markings but I will add a picture of the original opening to represent it) the leak was still outside of the box. The leak detector did not even check that side of the island with his equipment to check if there was a pipe there or not. I have no issue with any company making a mistake as long as the own up to their mistake. To imply that I am racist is absolutely unacceptable you have no idea who I am and are assuming I'm racist based off of my name. It is clear how your company chooses to represent itself and i am glad everyone on yelp and everyone I tell and show this too will now how this company is operated.

One of the best leak detector around!! We had water issue near our Air conditioner condenser and thought we have problem with A/C, so called A/C people they came out and they had absolutely no idea where the leak was coming from!! Called Sherlock and Raanan came out on that day and found exactly where it was coming from and even found how it effected/ damaged the areas near the water leak! We are now underway with repairing. Thank you Raanan!!

We called Sherlock Leak Detection because we thought we might have a slab leak. We called them and they were able to send someone out the next day! They showed up right on time and got to work. They were extremely thorough and spent almost an hour looking around the house. Luckily we did not end up having a leak and we just needed a $5 part to fix a toilet! We were extremely happy with the company and their professionalism.

I spoke to Ron and he really knows his stuff. They used a non evasion method to detect the leaks in my ceiling. It had been dripping for a long time and they came to the rescue.

I was referred to Ron and Sherlock from another plumber on yelp. I called Ron and he responded immediately, which was marvelous as we had no time to waste. We had a leak at at one of the houses I manage and the City of Beverly Hills was sending me what seemed like weekly notices and how much water we were wasting and that the bill was going to be insanely high.
Sherlock and Amit to the rescue! Within less than an hour Amit discovered where the leak was and that it was really bad. He was extremely thoroughly in looking all over the property and was kind enough to educate me in the process. Together we FaceTimes my boss to explain the situation and Amit was very professional and walked us both through what had most likely happened and how we needed to fix it.
It was a stressful problem, but these guys really eliminated the hassle of it all and set us about getting it all handled. I hope I never have to call on them again but in case I do, I will 100% be using them again and would encourage anyone to do the same.

Fast and friendly service from Ron! Friday of Labor Day weekend we noticed that something wasn't right with our water pipes. We checked throughout our property and could not find anything visibly leaking. The next day we called Ron to help us out and he was able to detect the hard to find leak in a timely manner. Turns out the leak was underground! We couldn't have found this leak without his expertise. He also referred us to a plumber that would be able to further remedy our situation. Overall very satisfied with our experience.

Don't go to anybody else. You are wasting your time and money. He is the ultimate expert - but most importantly - he doesn't give up. He thinks. He looks. He tests everything and everywhere. Leaks are sneaky. The obvious is seldom the cause. That's why you need Sherlock Leak Detection. We tried another well known service who made a big song and dance with lots of fancy equipment and triumphantly identified the spot under the floor. Our plumbers dug furiously, jackhammers going like crazy. And? We found an electric pipe. Not a water pipe in sight. But they took our $300 anyway. Then came Sherlock! He came, he saw, he conquered. The leak was in the exact spot he identified. We dig up the floor and there it was. Trust me ladies and gents. Sherlock is the man for the job.
