The Sherlock guys arrived at the house right on time and listened what I had to say. They went right to work and did their due diligence of the house since I had no plumbing plans of the original buildout. They started to field survey and was able to narrow down where the leak was within 30 minutes. I highly recommend this group for any residential leak detection that you may need.

So I happened to check our DWP bill online (I don't usually see it because it's set on paperless auto pay) expecting it to be lower than what it was during the summer since I had turned down all the irrigation to ¼ back in September. So I was surprised to see the water usage had practically doubled up. We had just fully renovated this circa 1926 house in 2017 so I knew all the pipes in the house we're good, and having a background myself in construction, I kinda know what to look for. There were no visual leaks, no leaking toilets or faucets, and no mud spots that I could see around the property. Time to call a specialized expert. I found Sherlock on Yelp and called them because of their reviews and after Amit and Keeva came out last Thursday, I must say the reviews are on point. They came on time and with a great attitude. Within 15 minutes on property, they had narrowed the problem down to some sprinkler control valves. After more troubleshooting, they pinpointed it to the valves' supply line. I dug the area out yesterday and there it was, a coupling had come apart a foot and half underground. I would have never have found it and it had been leaking for almost 6 months according to our water usage history. Amit and Keeva knew their stuff and we had great conversation during the process. We had a pipe that had started to make a constant hum. My water bill was still reasonable but the meter was spinning slowly. I called Sherlock and to my surprise Amit was going to come on the holiday.

I dont think I had the best attitude due to the stresses of having a leaky pipe but Amit was kind and patient with me. Answered all my questions and concerns that I had brought up. Amit brought out several devices, and was able to tape off an area to start digging.

We are 6 units Condo building in Santa Monica.

Three years ago, we suffered a big water leakage and the first leaking detection guy pointed us to the wrong spot that wasted us time and money for useless digging.

Then Ron arrived, recommended highly by a friend, and quickly, confidently pointed us to the right spot that was leaking and proposed an elegant solution to the plumbers to fix the problem.

Days ago we experienced another suspected leakage due to the jump of almost 50% water usage in our water bill.

Appreciate that when they came to see me and realized that they could not help i.e. leak was not at a level where they could detect it, Ron graciously waived the fee after I had paid it and returned the check. Only feedback would be that before they come to verify it is something that their services can help with. I do have a slight leak but it is not at a level where detection companies can help. When that is the case I will certainly contact Sherlock Leak Detection.

The best! Called 9pm Thursday, Amit arrived exactly on time at 9:30 am Friday. Took out his equipment-found the leak in under an hour-checked everything else in the house to make sure it was okay. Great work Amit!

the process of leak detection and although he didn't find any
leaks he did give us some ideas as to where the water problem

Raanan (Ron) Bennaim, the owner of Sherlock Leak Detectives was MOST helpful in successfully locating our underground water leak. Ron was prompt, efficient and most of all, friendly, courteous and professional. Also easy to approach with inquiries. Yes, I would definitely highly recommend him and his entire company! (My ONLY regret is that Sherlock Leak Detectives were not able to repair the underground leak once it was located; I know that NO leak detection companies will perform that service. However, Ron did provide two highly regarded plumbers for me to utilize.) BRAVO, Ron and Company!
