We specialize in plumbing, heating, and air conditioning solutions for residential and commercial clients with locations in Traverse City and Petoskey. The journey of Sheren Plumbing, Heating and Cooling began in the founder's residence in Traverse City more than 45 years ago with just a few plumbers and the founder himself, and has expanded to over 85 employees across two locations.

Jerry grew up in the Hannah/Kingsley area and completed his education at St. Mary's School. Jerry's great-grandparents homesteaded in the Kingsley area after arriving from Germany. Jerry enlisted in the Air Force straight out of high school when the Vietnam War was starting. Following four years of service, he pursued plumbing apprenticeship in Massachusetts with the help of the GI Bill. He built a family in Massachusetts and returned to Traverse City in 1975. Two years later, he established Sheren Plumbing, Heating and Cooling.

In addition to his military background that led him to this field, Jerry holds the necessary licenses to operate a business. He holds licenses as a master plumber, plumbing contractor, mechanical contractor, and boiler operator. After over 40 years of dedication and hard work, Jerry has built the thriving business that Sheren Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is today. With an eye on the future, Jerry is eager to semi-retire and spend more time with his family at their cabin in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
