Our services include plumbing, heating, and air conditioning for homes and businesses with branches in both Traverse City and Petoskey. More than 45 years ago, Sheren Plumbing, Heating and Cooling was founded in the founder's house in Traverse City with a small team of plumbers and the founder, and has expanded to over 85 employees across two locations.

Jerry grew up in the Hannah/Kingsley area and completed his education at St. Mary's School. Jerry's great-grandparents homesteaded in the Kingsley area after arriving from Germany. Jerry enlisted in the Air Force straight out of high school when the Vietnam War was starting. After four years of honorable service, he trained as a plumber in Massachusetts through the GI Bill. While there, he began a family and moved back to Traverse City in 1975. In 1977, he launched Sheren Plumbing, Heating and Cooling.

Jerry's military experience introduced him to this industry, and he possesses the required licenses to run a business. He holds licenses as a master plumber, plumbing contractor, mechanical contractor, and boiler operator. With more than 40 years of effort and determination, Jerry has created the successful company that Sheren Plumbing, Heating and Cooling represents today. As he looks to the future, Jerry is excited about semi-retirement to spend quality time with family at their cabin in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
