This company never pulled any permits. Beware all you 5 star reviews customers! I was a five star reviewer until this. Shephards installed the wrong water heater needed for my heated floors. When they came to see why the floors weren't working the employee told me that it wasn't the right kind to run my floors. When asked why they installed it he said, he realized the mistake and they were supposed to come back and put the right one in and that he had told the manager (who no longer works there)
This is a classic example of a company with too much work and or unable to manage their jobs properly. First, the owner said it was my fault for not telling them. But I had discussed in length my heated floors as well as wanting a water filter to help with my skin issues. Then they told me (the Manager who left said) I didn't want my heated floors. So which is it? Did I not tell them about my heated floors, or did I say I didn't want them? In what world would someone not want a luxury item like heated floors? The owner, who has never stepped foot in my house, let alone on my cozy warm tile floors, adamantly argued that they didn't work previously. He also called me a liar, and swindler looking for freebies... but I have paid almost 20k to this company. 5k for the wrong water heater. Then he quoted me 6k for the correct equipment with no credit for the wrong unit even though it was only 8 weeks installed at the time I realized my floors weren't working and was still definitely under warranty. Lastly, as if the insults and accusations weren't infuriating enough. I went all winter with a freezing cold bathroom, because the heated floors were necessary to keep it warm with a wall of windows. They never apologized for the issue or took accountability for the mistake. They instead said they never had any experience with the unit I needed for my heated floors and that they weren't even bonded for that type of work. The owners' excuse was that I needed hot water fast... but I had already waited 10 days without hot water to get a quote from them. At that point, they could have told me they don't do that kind of work... I would have rather they said that than sold me the wrong equipment.

I had several jobs that needed to be done, a leak under my kitchen sink, a leaking bathroom tub faucet, and an outside faucet all needed to be fixed and were costing me quite a bit each month in wasted water. The guys came out and got the items fixed quickly and left the job area clean and were great to work with. I definatly will use them again.

Branden came quickly to give us a bid and was reasonable with charges. When we gave them the green light they began within a few days. The young men were polite and did exactly what we asked of them and completed in a timely fashion. Would recommend!!
