Seriously! Someone who knows what to do. My kitchen sink is classic ""1928"" so....Not so easy when it comes to fixing this thing. 2 other plumbers come in and try to fix this beast and..No dice, they are telling me that it will cost over $500 to replace. Dave was honest and upfront which I like. NO BS kinda guy. He ended up fixing this insane job with a some twist,jabs, and turns ""it was stripped"" and BAM! he fixes it which 2 other morons could not do. I would use them again for sure but..hopefully won't have to for awhile.
As far as Sarah's comment..... Really? Dave is good people in my book. 2 Thumbs up Dave.

Have used a different local plumber for years. But, Dave often parks in front of my house to go to the post office. I have talked to him several times and wrote down his number ""just in case"". So, I get a small hole in my under sink pipe ...at 1:00am !! I called
my original plumber the next AM, and he basically blew me off, that he was busy and could I call him back and leave a message. So, I called Dave. He returned my call within 10 minutes, and we made our appt for next AM. He was on time, took care of my problem within 15 minutes, was friendly, and charged me exactly what he quoted. I now have a new plumber. Definatly recommend.

You can't get better than Shelton Plumbing. I have used Shelton Plumbing for years - both Harold and Dave. Dave has absolute integrity, honesty, is straight shooting and very reasonably priced. If someone puts less than 5 stars for Dave, then they can't handle a straight forward, honest guy who will suggest the best solution for their plumbing problem. Most important - any work he performs is absolute perfection! My friends who use Shelton Plumbing think he is as great as I do!

What an AWESOME plumber! Dave is the best in town. He is sweet, kind, meticulous and extremely knowledgeable. We called him on a holiday and he answered right away and said he was just finishing up with another client and would be over shortly. It wasn't but what seemed like a few minutes and there he was, knocking at our door! AND he didn't charge us some crazy holiday rate, just the normal rate he charges, which is extremely reasonable.

I'm a bit nervous having workers come to the house without my husband home but with Dave I feel 100% comfortable and at ease with him. It is like having a friend over, but a really handy friend who drive a cool van with lots of awesome tools in it!

Having Dave at our ready is such a great feeling, especially since we own a 70 year old home. I can't express the relief I feel knowing that he isn't going try to rip us off or suggest services or products we don't need. His open and honest communication is a real advantage in a sea of overpriced huge plumbing companies.

Dave and Harold have been working on our house since we bought it in 1996 and the toilet broke hours before our house warming party. They zipped right over to save us from having to cancel the party. We were introduced to them through my mother in law, they had been working on her house since she bought it in the 70's. Always prompt, professional and friendly. Pricing is great and they have saved the day many times for us.

We have a rental house now and it's in our contract with the property management that NO other plumber is to touch that house except Dave. I recommend them to everyone I know.

When you are reading reviews on here please make sure to read the filtered ones as well. This first page seems to highlight some of the bad ones when there are many more great ones on the filtered page.

Dave will be our plumber for as long as he is around and we are thrilled to have him!

Called Dave with a slight emergency-a broken toilet in a 1 bath house! He made time to come fix it and was polite and professional. I am glad I called him and can't thank him enough. The price was also reasonable.

Harold and Dave have worked for my parents since they bought their home in the 60's. Because we have had such a long relationship with them, they know the pipes in the house like the back of their hands and are quick to deliver solutions that are long lasting and cost efficient. This father and son team truly care about their customers and they are trusted friends to us. If you want an excellent plumber, call Shelton.

Dave in stalled a new tank less water heater for me and fixed a few other small problems around my house good service ,good price , good plumber.
He will also be my plumber for my rentals .

All I can say is that I have no idea who would ever leave a negative review here on Yelp for Dave. Dave is by far the ONLY plumber that I will ever call for the rest of my life when I need one. He is professional, honest, friendly, on time, fast, not messy, polite and he will always go the extra mile to get a job done correctly. These people that have written bad reviews are probably other jealous plumbers trying to get a leg up on him. I would definitely recommend you call Dave the next time you need a great plumber.

Oh yeah, and he is a Chargers fan which is also awesome!!! :-)
