I work for a Property Management Company and we have a school that has plumbing issues rather frequently. Shellback was the first plumber that I called, and the only one that I had to call. Their service was prompt, thorough, and friendly. I was provided with updates and best courses of action going forward. Eric was friendly. Jenny was as well when she took my initial call. They came out super close to the time frame, but I was impressed at the response from Jenny that they want to take care of the clients and try to provide service same-day. I was very pleased with their customer service, and so was our team at the school. We will be using Shellback again if our needs arise in this area.

OMG...an honest plumbing company!! This is a family and Navy Vet owned company whose motto is ""Bringing Honesty and Integrity Back"" and they truly live up to that statement!! Kitchen drain backup on Saturday. Steven showed up earlier than promised and spent several hours trying his best to clear the blockage without success. He returned Monday morning with more aggressive equipment. The blockage remained impenetrable after several hours of attempts with every tool and trick available. He honestly discussed possible solutions and we agreed on a reroute around the problem, settling on the least complicated route that also avoided any damage to my house. Tuesday morning Steven returned to commence a full day of work. Gary, the owner, came out to see and approve our plan. Gary suggested sending additional help on Wednesday to complete the job. Steven started digging the trench. He then worked through his lunch break fabricating the pipes, connecting the system, testing the system, filling in the trench, replacing the sod, and cleaning up the work area. NO need for extra workers on Wednesday! Job done! Kitchen is back! Steven even returned Wednesday morning just to confirm my satsfaction. I have now found my plumber for ALL future plumbing needs. Thank you Steven and Gary!!

Gary and his team are outstanding. We had our upstairs bathroom backing up and it would not drain. Shellback came out quickly and on time and tried a number of things to try to clear the line. They ultimately had to replace a section of pipe downstairs that was blocked by roots. They had to jackhammer the foundation to get to the section of pipe. They protected the entire room with plastic and worked quickly to repair the pipe. Their pricing was reasonable, compared to what I hear other plumbers would have charged for this type of service. I will continue to use them for all of my plumbing needs in the future.

They were amazing.

As they imply, integrity is a core part of my experience. They do what they say they'll do and do a great job with reasonable costs.

When my water heater had water in the pan, they were able to locate the leak to the outlet pipe, and didn't try to get me to buy a new water heater.

They also saw my water pressure was high, and took a good amount of time to adjust it instead of recommending to change it out.

They did not use any of opportunities to take advantage of me. They were honest and prices were fair. In fact I paid a lot less than I thought I would, fearing the worst.

You can stop looking for an honest and hard working plumbing company, you found it! Gary has done a great job putting this crew together. Danny, Tyler and Fernando were all amazing. I had a HUGE, multi-phase project, lots of plumbing related components, that I had been planning out and budgeting for, unfortunately I had a water service line that broke that kicked everything into high gear a little ahead of the schedule I had planned... I have OCD, and don't deal well with things not going the way I was planning, and Danny dealt with my crazy just fine.

From the morning texts from Jenny in the shop letting me know that he was on his way, to his cleaning everything up every night before leaving, the communication with texts and phone calls during the day when I wasn't home (because I have to work to pay for all this somehow ;-) ) , I was never surprised when I came home because I knew what was going on when I wasn't there. He even discovered a gas leak in the line before the meter that probably saved my house if not my (literal) life. He met the technician from So Cal Gas that was dispatched to fix the line and showed him what was going on.

He clearly explained every step of every phase, let me know about a rebate for my new tankless water heater that I didn't know about, got me a great deal on a whole house water treatment system, AND when things went a little wrong with the pipe liner installation with a sub-contractor (you can't always be perfect) he took care of everything and made it right.

I should also mention that they had to dig up, back fill, and re-dig up my front yard a few times over a few weeks (I did say this was a big project) in late August/early September. It got hot and they still put in a full day and then some.

tldr - exceeded my expectations, and I am a pretty picky person. I did my research, spent literal hours on Yelp looking at local plumbing companies and decided that Shellback was the way to go. No regrets. They have a customer for life.

This is a first class outfit with a small town feel. Our Plummer was Danny. Knowledgeable, thorough, friendly. He fixed our issue and gave advice on future potential issues. They ended up costing more than I first expected.. because I had them do more.. so anything extra was money well spent. In time, job done quickly.

I was able to setup an appointment for the next day to replace a sprinkler valve that was leaking before we left on vacation. He showed up on time and did a great job. He had to go get some fittings so the job took a bit longer, but he honored the original quote. Very happy with the work. I would call them again.
