When our water heater/boiler pressure valve went bad, we learned our previous plumber had retired. At the referral of a contractor friend, we called Shaw Plumbing. They made certain they knew what parts they needed and had the parts on hand, before scheduling a visit. When the team arrived -- perfectly on time -- they were wonderful. Pleasant, engaging, careful and super efficient. They finished so quickly, I thought there must have been a complication -- no complication, just wonderfully quick.

Dishwasher stopped draining, and the problem traced to major drain under the sink. Jose was on the job after explaining what he saw and his plan to fix the problem. Removed old cast-iron pipes quickly with no fuss or muss. These guys have always been on time and through. I cannot recommend them more highly and a special nod to Jose for his work.

Shaw Plumbing has done a lot of work for me over the years. They always get it right.

Some of the tasks:
Properly drain dishwasher that wasn't.
Fully plumb and trim three bathrooms.
Install 7 toilets at work and home, including a 10"" to center model.
Fix sewer gas leak from previous homeowner's handiwork.
Install two awesome propane on-demand water heaters.
Fix toilet flange that carpenter screwed up.

Referred by my general contractor, Shaw Plumbing started off strong ie visiting my house and coming up with an estimate after walking through. I was impressed with the owner's knowledge and professionalism. And then, crickets. It has been two months since the day that I accepted the quote, which I felt was reasonable given the scope of work. After weeks of poor response to emails and texts (well to be fair, there was one note three weeks ago that said ""parts should be arriving this week"", will call you to schedule), I finally sent an email cancelling the proposal. Maybe Shaw is so busy and in such high demand for larger projects, that they don't have enough bandwidth to do the smaller projects. But then, they should not lock up a homeowner waiting around for two months with little to no communication. Not professional in this day and age of easy communication. Avoid if you have a small job that needs immediate attention.

Excellent Service. Tim came out and replaced a hot water heater within 24 hours of diagnosing the problem. We live in a 110 year old house, and while shutting off the main water valve, a leak was detected from the old valve and the Spokane water company had to shut off the water. Tim stayed longer than what the appointment called for and installed a new valve, immediately fixing the problem. Thanks to Tim and Shaw plumbing, we now have hot water with no leaks. I highly recommend Shaw Plumbing for their expertise and fixing any water problems in a professional and expedient manner.

Excellent Service. I shopped around and got the best price and replacement for a water heater.
Service representatives Dylan and assistant JP arrived on time, removed a leaking water heater from a very difficult, tight location, installed a top grade Rheem water heater and circulation pump to provide instant hot water in a remote bathroom. They left everything spotless when finished. Excellent Company and great service. You will not be disappointed.
